Twitter, the popular micro-blogging social media site, cost a respected CNN editor her job! CNN reporter, Octavia Nasr, recently tweeted about death of a
Hezbollah leader (making him appear in a favorable light), leading to reader
outrage and her eventual firing for this tweet.
The content of her tweet was in violation of CNN social media policy
about expressing political views. 140
characters cost this respected editor her job.
Fair or not, the law
favors EMPLOYERS in the social media arena.
As a company, you have a PR image and have intellectual property assets to
protect on the internet. From a HR
