Consequences of State Medicaid Expansion Provision Strike-Down May be Greater Than Recognized
On June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court of the United States upheld a critical component of President Obama's controversial healthcare law. While the entire country seems to be focusing on the individual mandate being upheld, there was a part of the law the Supreme Court struck down: the expansion of state Medicaid.
