On October 28th we completed our ISO 9001-2000 surveillance audit with NSF International. Our company is very proud to announce that we're now current to the new ISO 9001:2008 upgrade. Avanti Engineering received it's original ISO Certificate of Registration on 11/13/2001, and has seen a remarkable improvement in all areas of the company since the start of this program. Our Quality Policy Commitment to ISO is recognized with three words: (UPI) Understand, Perform & Improve.
Customer Satisfaction:
Annually we send a customer survey to our top 40 customers (in sales dollars). In each of the past 8 years our company has shown a steady and consistent improvement with their responses, and this year was no exception. The following rating system was used: (1: Excellent), (2: Above average), (3: Average), (4: Below average), (5: Poor). We use this information for our Management Review Meeting to analyze the Customer response and work towards improving each category below.
Quality: We were rated at 1.7%
Delivery: We were rated at 1.9%
Pricing: We were rated at 2.2%
Staff Courtesy: We were rated at 1.6%
Timeliness of Quotes: We were rated at 1.8%
Sales Representative: We were rated at 1.6%
Overall was Avanti a top supplier?: We were rated at 1.9%
We understand as a 37-year-old company that we're improving and have come a long way. We also know that we must work harder to continually improve, and the only way to show it is through our actions: Understand the needs of our Customers. Perform the best way we can to fulfill those needs. Improve by example, with each and every category surveyed.
