Thank you to all of the speakers that came out and presented information at the meeting!  A special thank you to our hosts at Britten Banner too!  And as everyone knows by now, it was hinted at the meeting that Trader Joe's would be coming to the South Loop and Crain's broke the news.

In case you did not make it to the meeting, take a look at the media coverage:

Northerly Island Park Plans Unveiled
Public Meeting Held
The Chicago Architecture Foundation graciously hosted a meeting where the plans for Northerly Island were shared with the community.  The Chicago Park District, Gia Biagi, Jeanne Gang from Studio/Gang/Architects and JJR presented the plans.  The Grant Park Conservancy has worked with them on what are very interesting designs.  They were created after the Chicago Park District and GPC/GPAC organized several public input meetings.
The  plans include many innovative, green concepts with all-season design.
Additional information can be found on the Chicago Tribune, and a visual presentation on You Tube.
