Most Beloved Children of Our Father, God Does Not Play
Probably this word "play" would be better replaced with the word "lie," because Our Father does not lie.
When we say something about anyone by judging that individual, we are saying these things about ourselves first.
The saying "Do until others as you would have them do unto you" is very, very significant in what and how we think and speak. It is wiser to simply say only the good about another or say nothing and for heavens sake, keep our thoughts quiet.
The American Indian has a wonderful proverb, "Do not judge me until you have walked in my moccasins for a day." Those words are very true, for you do not know what any person is going through. So, it would be a truly wise action to release all judgments about another person.
There was a College Professor who used an exercise that demonstrated this idea excellently. The students had to write down a problem they were experiencing and put it into a hat. The hat was passed around and each person had to choose a paper from that hat.
When each one saw what the problem was, they were more than happy to keep their own problem and each wondered how that person could survive in mind with what they had to contend.
That exercise stopped the complaining, the finger pointing, the judgments and everything else. It was an excellent exercise and one that the entire world would profit by if used.

God's Kingdom Is One of Peace
In Psalms 2:6 the Lord declares, "This is the king of my choice, and I have enthroned him in Jerusalem, my Holy City." And in Proverbs 26:12 it reads, "There is one thing worse than a fool, and that is a man who is conceited."
What does all this mean? It means dear ones that God is in control and any man who thinks otherwise is foolish and conceited, meaning he is self-important, proud and vain. That person's arrogance shows everywhere he is and remember man does not always refer to "male", but also refers to "female."
The best place any person can reside is in peace. That is Our Father's Kingdom. Study with us and become enthroned in peace. Our classes will begin the third week in September 2012.

Bring Love Into the Dark Moments of Life
"No matter how dark the moment, love and hope are always possible." George Chakiris
Does life sometimes appear dark and you do not know what to do? This is a time that says love is needed. You can bring that love into your life by simply looking at the wonders that surround you in this beautiful world.
It would be wise to pray the prayer the way King David prayed when the men of Ziph tried to betray him to Saul. This is what King David said, "Come with great power, O God, and save me! Defend me with your might! Oh listen to my prayer." Psalm 54: 1, 2 (Living Bible Edition)
This is the prayer of King David a man after God's own heart and even such a man had "dark moments" in his life, but he never allowed it to stop his search for God's Heart. It appeared that it drove him to a greater search for God. He wanted to know what it was like to see Our Father face to face.
However, he was told that no one could see the face of Our Father and live, but the Scriptures do say that Moses and Jacob saw God. How could this be possible, for it is impossible to see His Face.
One way may be to see the very Essence of Our Father in every person you meet. Another may be to see Our Father face to face when you embrace His thoughts in your own heart. However, how would it be if you meditated with Him for 6 weeks, 42 days everyday at the same time and He came to you, spoke with you and in so doing made you feel His very Spirit? Would you feel you have met Him face to face?
Dr. Ernest Holmes in his Science of Mind Textbook says, "Through right thinking, he (meaning man) is able to uncover the appearance of imperfection and reveal the Perfect Idea. "Behold, thou, my face forevermore." (Page 131 paragraph 1.)
We have the opportunity to think only Good every moment of every day and it is possible to do so. It would mean withdrawing yourself from anyone who speaks negatively more than they do affirmatively.
It would mean that the heart and the head are united-one.

I Just Want to "Be" Somebody - Part I -- used in August
By Rev. Pat
These are words that many have uttered mainly because every person on this Earth wants to "be" somebody. There is nothing special that any one person has to do to "be" somebody. There are those who feel if they can "control" another, hold another down or simply become powerful they can or will "be" somebody.
Our Father has already solved that problem if we could or would simply realize that the Bible is the living "Word" of His guidance to "being." The Scriptures are Our Father's direction on "How to Live" a victorious and healthy life while living on this plane of existence.
We are guided from Genesis to Revelation on what we are to eat, how we are to act and what we are to do. We are given the Laws, Precepts, Commandments, Judgments and Statutes. Moses taught what we "shall not" do and Jesus taught what we "shall" do. So between the two we already know what will happen if we give no thought to these ideas and disobey and what the wonderful, magnificent Scripture will do for us when we obey. However, the Scriptures give us is a simple method and process, but it appears we prefer things to be difficult.
When Jesus walked on the Earth he taught Truth, but it too was very simple and those who were in authority thought that he wanted to be King, Ruler or the Religious Leader. He was teaching a simple Truth.
Caiaphas thought that he was trying to take his job as the High Priest of the Jews. This brought great fear to him. Do we not still have these fears in us? Are we not afraid that someone will "be" greater than we are?
The Emperors of Rome also feared this "Christ" and those who believed that what Jesus taught was against them. The Christians were called traitors of Rome and were sent to the galleys or in the arenas.
Everyone can simply "be" somebody and in reality, you already are somebody. Every person on Earth, regardless of race, creed or religion is "somebody." God called the creation of man (meaning mankind) His greatest creation. Do you know that there is a verse in the Scriptures that says a "day" is as a thousand years to God? A day to Our Father is not 24 hours!
We can take this a step further and realize that it did not take seven (7) days to create the Universe, but a period of time that could have been seven thousand years! We can say that Chapter One in Genesis was the plan, the blueprint of what Our Father was thinking about and Chapter Two is the visible realization, the manifestation of presenting that blueprint into reality.
Most people say there are two creations in the Scriptures, but one is the well-thought out plan and the other is the actual visible creation brought into reality. Is this not what we teach in The Wisdom of Science of Mind? Where do you think we got the idea? Visualize it first, pray and then work on bringing it into reality.
The difference is: We are not "the" God. Thus, we must give our plans to Our Father and ask if this is the best thing for us at this time in life. We must ask, "Show me what it feels like to experience my desires. Are these desires in attunement to a life filled with Your Life thus far? Is there anything I need to add or eliminate?" And last, we are to ask Our Father to clothe our mind with the power, patience, perseverance and strength of Spirit, for we can never "be" somebody without Our Father.

Habits Can Thwart Your Spiritual Growth
May I tell you something that simply seem to spring up into my mind as if I had never heard it before? "When ye have lifted up the son of man, then shall ye know that I am He and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things." John 8:28
At that moment the words "but as my Father hath taught me" hit me like a ton of bricks. It is just amazing! Even the Scribes, the Rabbis in the Temple wanted to know where he had learned such intelligence when Jesus answered their questions in ways that they had never heard before. They knew he had not learned it from them, because Rabbis usually repeat what other Rabbis have said, but everything that Jesus was saying was new to them, yet they recognized Truth!
We have the habit of hearing, yet we do not hear, or is it that we hear, but do not listen. Or, is it we listen, but do not hear or we read but do not listen to what we read?
It is a puzzle that must be solved if we want to grow more pure and pleasant to Our Father. Whatever it is that we are doing, it is simply habit and until we become alert to our every action our spiritual growth is held back or delayed.
Listen tenderly, consistently and gently with your heart, mind and soul filled with His Divine Love.
May His Guidance Always Be Heard By You,
Rev. Pat
