What Is the Spiritual Condition of Your Heart?

There is a beautiful story about Esther who became Queen of Persia in the Scriptures.  In this story, there is a man named Haman who hates the Hebrews, Jews as they are called in the story.  

In the Guiding Image Release (VCR) presented by Magnum Entertainment "The Story of Esther", points out how Haman keeps bringing things up to King Xerxes to distract him from giving attention to important matters of his day.   

Haman brings a host of ideas, troubles and problems to distract the King of Persia and influences many others so that he can do his undercover work of plans to kill all the Jews in the month of Pur.

The Sacred Classics presentation (on DVD) is so very beautiful with its Persian Art filled Palace, its music that fills you with a tender feeling of love and with Joan Collins as Esther and Richard Egan as King Ahasuerus, this story will bring you to feel their love in the room right where you view this.  

The same idea is presented of Haman wanting to kill all the Jews.  The King seeks a new Queen of Persia and many virgins are brought into his Kingdom for him to choose a new wife.  Esther is among these virgins and she comes to realize that she truly loves the King and tells him that the "Kingdom of the heart" is far more important to her than being Queen of Persia.

The whole idea of this Biblical story is to convey that a loving heart is important, particularly for the one ruling any country, kingdom, state, land or anything that represents power.  She helps him to understand that the must be filled with Divine Love.

Esther's heart is filled with love and it is a gentle love that is displayed. Her heart expressions are what many may desire their heart to reveal.

We know that love can change anything and will melt and dissolve the greatest evil on Earth, but It, meaning the heart, however, must be pure. There can be no deceit, guile or deviousness. It means that the one you love, the one who says they commit their love to you must be trusted that there is much Truth in their words. For us, we know there is One who gives this kind of love and it is Our Father.

This story of Esther and the King in the Bible is said to be "The Greatest Love Story," but Our Father who constantly shows His Divine Love for each of His children, can help each of us become "The Greatest Love Story" in life, if we will but accept His Precious Love.  

Jesus taught that we are to show mercy and be merciful to others. This aspect of Goodness will lead us to have much courage to do those things that appear impossible.

He also taught that we are to give and it will be given to us, share with the poor that they may be fed and spend wisely the money that we have brought forth that we may abound, be filled with wealth and have the ability to give generously.

If you are in a leadership position, then it is wise to fill your heart with the quality of humility, for out of it comes the one who knows how to lead, first himself then others with love and wisdom, willingness and understanding.  With this kind of peace, Divine Love and wisdom we will become poised in everything that we do.  Love the Lord, thy God today with all your heart, soul and mind.

Spiritualize Your Life

Everything that UWFellowship will do this year will be about spiritualizing your life. In other words, doing what Emerson said man never does - Live!

Let us finally leave the tidings of primitive man--hunting, eating and sleeping. What we have done is to change that to working, eating and sleeping.

Think about it. When we came to the East Coast I found it necessary to work outside the Church to help support us financially.  I worked in offices and found that a 15 minute morning break was unheard of.  It was constant work and if you took a lunch from your desk, there were businesses that looked upon that with many frowns.  

I saw many who ate their lunch while they worked. That is a setup for many mistakes, because the mind requires rest to assimilate, the body to revitalize and the spirit to adjust.

Balance is what all of us really seek and need, but the materially minded man feels that he must have the money first and then work on spiritualizing his life. They must go hand in hand. That is the Real Lesson that man must learn in this 2012 New Year. Something has pushed us to this end or we have pushed ourselves into it.

One method may be, if we advance in making an additional $100.00, then let us advance in loving Our Father or obeying one thing that Jesus, the Christ asked us to do.  A good beginning is to balance our life spiritually.  We do that by remembering that rest is needed, Our Father is necessary for a successful prosperous life and balance is imminent. 

You are not going to like this, but it is Truth. The Cosmic Law of Give and Receive says that we must give something before we can receive something.  

Thus, since Our Father says that He owns everything and Deuteronomy 8:18 says that God gave us the power to get wealth, where do you think the first gift of gratitude should be given?

Well let me say it as the Scriptures say it: First to God and second to yourself. In actuality the first 10% before any check is written is to be written to a Religious Organization [giving back to God with gratitude] where you have received good and the second 10% to yourself. These are non-negotiable. From there you will distribute the rest of your money for shelter, food, utilities and whatever other payments you have made.

This sounds ridiculous to many I know. The life that many of us have lived has been out of balance, lop-sided.  

I am deducing this from experience: You may say that the church just wants "my" money and they are not going to get it. Now, think. In our textbook, Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes, we find on page 336, paragraph one these words, "...spiritual awakening should never be divorced from the mental act, which is to awaken the mind to the realization of Spirit."

We cannot get around it. What belongs to Our Father is His and since He created everything, then everything belongs to Him and that includes the money we make. We cannot keep on doing the same old thing and expect to reap wealth. It doesn't work that way.  For a long time, we dared not to teach this way, but it is a disservice to you. 

Think on this: I shall say this as kindly as I know how. When the United States gives to its "own" people first [all alike] the United States prospers. When it gives to other countries, other people and keeps many in or near poverty in its own country, it becomes a country wanting more money to stay alive.

This year, I shall break a rule that has been created, because things that are important is not to be in all caps as someone feels that the writer is yelling at him or her.  I ask you to read "What the Mystics Have Taught in the Science of Mind Book, subtitle, Ultimate Salvation for All, page 334 through 337." You will find words that are all caps, because they are important and are to be remembered.  No one is yelling.  Holmes is pointing out the importance of these sentences, statements and words.

When these kinds of rules are made we fall out of balance and our focus is on something that is not true or that you may feel is unimportant. When you read things written here, it is to show importance. A spiritual person will never yell! A spiritual person is calm, peaceful, poised and happy. Remember that. That is what is important. Remove from your mind everything that makes you believe that things you see are real. We learn in the Wisdom of Science of Mind that what is invisible will become visible to the mind and what you cannot see, what is unseen is Real.

We live in a Spiritual Universe. We can choose to cooperate with it or reject all of Its ideas, but there is one Truth you cannot escape and that is trying to separate yourself from It--Our Father.

Go within this New Year and become aware of Our Father, Jesus the Christ and Their teachings. That is Real. You then will understand how to spiritualize life. You will then become alert to serve that you may forget the little ego and know the Big Ego--Our Father. Who do you want to impress your thoughts upon? God, Our Father or man?

This Amazingly Beautiful Earth

Doesn't it strike you odd and arouse a curiosity in you that this physical world is filled with such beauty, yet we are told that nothing here compares with the beauty of Our Father's Kingdom? If you do not or cannot see it, perhaps the beauty of this world is hidden from you.

Look around you and make a list of the beauty that Our Father has placed here on Earth. Check out the Geography around the world; look at the beautiful cities, the countryside and list what you find that is beautiful to you.

It is amazing that there is still belief in a Real World and a Real Power who is Our Father God with all the goings forth with the Philosophers. So, I can understand why there is so much indecision or indecisiveness about "A" God and some still believing that there can be a "non-religion" that will still answer prayers.

Is this why common sense is so uncommon? Is this why there are so many problems that "appear" to have no solution?

Everyone wants to experience love. Jesus, the Christ taught it to his Disciples and they taught it to the Jews and the Gentiles after Jesus was crucified. We teach it today, yet few truly experience this beautiful faculty of mind, this great power.

Are we to go on forever searching for it? There is such a desire for it that we have set aside one day to seek it out in those we love or say that we love. Perhaps, if we truly asked with all our heart to understand what love truly is, then we would be soft, poised, kind, peaceful ready to accept the Divine Love that Jesus taught.

We know that it has something to do with the heart and that it is a true emotion, but truly what makes it beautiful, precious and tender when experienced? Why is it that we become so jealous when one experiences love and the one wanting the experience it feels he or she does not have it?

Let Love Blossom in Your Heart Like the Roses in the Desert--Full Grown.

We Live on Three Planes Every Moment

Ask yourself, "Which "plane" am I giving more attention?" Unless you are feeding the physical plane, the body and feeding the mental plane, which is the mind and the spiritual plane, the soul you are missing the mark or making a grave error.

However, if you are living equally on all three planes, then you are balanced and working with Our Father.

He cannot give us what we refuse to give ourselves. Everything that is needed for us to give attention to these three planes of living is within us and is coordinated with, through or by our thoughts.

We can use jealousy to make ourselves feel we are less than or the idea of feeling that we are a victim, which is a "biggie", to believe that we are to be pitied. Either one of these practices or habits bring unhappiness and poverty to us either in body, mind or spirit, or the material, mental or spiritual. It robs us of strength of body, will of mind and fortitude or staying power of spirit.

We are in control of what happens to us-each individually. No one can do any more to us than what we allow. Thus, if poverty strikes, believe it or not, we have allowed it because of the way we think. If the mental faculty fails us, it is because of the way we feel. If we believe spirit fails us, it is because we did not develop faith. No one else truly had anything to do with it.

Realize that when victimization grabs anyone, the first thought is to hide. The victim does not know this. It is also difficult to believe that it is fear that has put them on the run.

Get out of that believed in safety net of victimization and stand up in the beautiful body, mind and spirit that Our Father gave us in the very beginning and know that you can be what you want to be no matter what.

We can achieve what we want to achieve by changing our thinking - so, think big.

We can see what we want to see, by looking out another window and we can know Our Father by feeling His heart beat in our heart. Know now and experience it, Our Father loves us very dearly.
