If Religion Works, What Am I Doing That Blocks My Good?

Religion Does Work, but You Have to Work It

We know Religion works, therefore, there must something that is done that is destructive that is blocking Good from expressing in life. There must be a way to realize this free from stress or strain.

If negative statements are made, answers in your favor will not be received. We know Religion works and we can tell you that what we teach here also works, because we are the proof that it does.

However, you may not believe any of this because there have been too many ups and downs in your life experience.

We know there are so many different people on the Internet that are teaching about The Law of Attraction, The Power of Your Word, How to Become Rich and so many other positive teachings, but we want to tell you, if Our Father is not mentioned strongly in those teachings, it will only last for a little while and that is the problem.

One of these teachings from a CD was tried and it the setback lasted for months. Why?

1. Because there are no shortcuts
2. There are many subconscious beliefs that must be removed before you can truly become what you want to become.
3. Until you realize Our Father God and His Son, Jesus does not lie; nothing you gain will ever be permanent! And even then, you must continue to do what you were doing to gain what you gained.

This is the way it is and marriage works the same way. The men may do all the things they know the young lady likes, but as soon as the "I do" is said, they return to their "old" self, which can be non-attentive, unloving, selfish and so forth. That is one of the reasons we require 3 premarital sessions.

Life is a beautiful game, but it must be played proficiently. Marriage is a game too and it can be so much fun, but it must be played earnestly and kindly.

Thus, it is wise to look at how your present life is and begin changing one by one that which does not satisfy you, cause you to grow spiritually or uplift you and if your financial state is lacking, begin now to work with it. The financial state is most important in marriage, life and particularly when it comes to your spiritual state of mind. You cannot have your mind on money and God at the same time. You cannot have your mind on your marriage and your money at the same time, but if you have your mind, your thoughts on Our Father the rest will take care of itself, because God is there.

Our Father Is Not Social

I know that this sounds a little controversial and maybe it sounds a little holier than though, but I was informed when seeking to have our Website professionally designed that we were not to "ask" for donations or to be part of any "Social Media." 

It seems that Our Father says "No" to many of the new ideas and creations that have come forth in the past few years.  It appears that Universal Wisdom Fellowship is set apart from the usual ways that churches now present themselves and I too, thought it was OK for us to do, but the answer came to us as no, you are not to participate.

I sometimes wonder if this began with the desire to "obey" His Laws, Commandments, Judgments, Testimonies, Statutes and Precepts.  Obeying Him is not the easiest thing to do living in a world of so many new and seemingly OK inventions and actions.

Our Father is not something to be discussed socially as you or myself would do at a dinner table, book club, over coffee, on the Internet, on the phone or even in giving opinions about Him.  He is far more serious, sacred, holy, hallowed, blessed, honored and a Deity that is to be consecrated or set apart in a way that calls for a revered atmosphere-respect.

You may argue that the Social Media means all these things to the one who may enter into such moments of reciprocity.  In Luke Chapter 15 we find the story of the Prodigal Son, which tells us as Holmes puts it that God turns to us as we turn to him.  Our Father likes to be first in whatever we do.  You may not think that you are putting Him second if we connect socially to speak of Him, but in whatever we do, we are to do it with great love and our attention only on Him.

He tells us to lean upon Him and He will take care of us.  Do we really believe that?  If we do, we have whatever we need to get from one place to another that we may gain knowledge, understanding, wisdom and enlightenment.

Let us understand this: Our Father knows more about this life we live than we will ever know in this one lifetime.  It no doubt will take many lifetimes for us to get the fullness of what He is, how to adjust our life to His and fulfilling our needs by simply leaning on Him.  We are simply His children, not His master.

Teaching the Cosmic Laws

The Law of Self Preservation - Use this one

Last month an article appeared in the Newsletter about Teaching the Cosmic Laws of the Universe. This article continues with the understanding of the first Cosmic Law.

This is the very first Cosmic Law: The Law of Self Preservation. Those who forget who they are, but try to protect themselves when some action taken is uncouth may tell lies to protect themselves.

The course to take is to always remember who you are. You are a child of Our Father and that is a very high honor. You are His greatest creation and that is never to be given any mere thought of your wonderment and magnificent talents He has given you.

If each morning you will look in the mirror in your eyes and tell yourself you are wonderful, you will find your self-image and self-esteem changing to that of a winning personality. This is a method we were taught. Fold your arms across your body touching each shoulder hugging yourself and moving from side to side saying the words: wonderful, wonderful me. You will see a difference in a few weeks of what this one action will do for you.

It would be wise to take this suggestion seriously and do this every morning for a few months in order for it to begin to show a definite influence in your life, because you are wonderful.

The action above is a little suggestion of The Law of Self Preservation, but those who feel so very terrible about themselves will need to change subconscious beliefs and our WSOM Classes can begin to help your understanding in the power of thought and what we actually do to ourselves.  Our Classes will assist you in knowing you are a wonderful individual.

Those who criticize others find that this action never builds character, but bring about feelings that further stimulate poor self-esteem.   Such an action also causes confusion in the subconscious mind. 

 It is wise to realize and understand that feeling good about yourself is preserving you for Our Father's use and that can be tremendous, big and gentle.  It is a way of becoming aware of just being yourself and it does not mean you have to go out and live on top of a mountain.

Our Father loves quietness, peace, humility, honor, equity, which are justice, impartiality, evenhandedness fairness and fair play. That is the biggest person anyone can be. Where it leads you is that which is buried deep within you, which you alone know and came to this dimension to become.

If you will seek to become everything that is listed here, written here in this article, you will have others wondering what has happened to you and what did you do to change.

There is one thing that parents can do that will help their children, even when you as a parent feels unhappy yourself.  That one glorious action is to praise your child.  Ttell him or her that you love them and above all tell them that that can do wonderful, good things in their life. 

Tell them they can become whatever they desire, but ask them to choose wisely because what they choose is what they will experience.  Tell them about what good really is and how they can also help others and their friends by telling them about goodness and praising another when something wonderful happens to them.

When you praise, it is wise to say that they are to understand that this does not make them better than another, for in Our Father's Kingdom, no one is better than another. They simply have great skills through knowledge, willingness to do good and using what they have gained with common sense, kindness, courtesy  and wisdom because of what they are taught today or their past lives.

When one person gains more courage than another, it does not make one weaker than the other. It simply says that one has had more experience in knowing how to use their faith. Self Preservation is important, for it is truly protection for the Soul.  After all, your soul lives in your body temple and it is the Soul that lives from age to age, lifetime to other lifetimes.
