Part II -- June

It appears that we cannot get around the idea of worshiping Our Father-Mother God-if-wewant to live free from stress and strain.

Oh, to live is a wonderful idea, but the question is, "How or in what way do you want to live or are you willing to allow everyone, no matter the race, culture, creed or philosophy, as you yourself desire to live?"

We are given the attribute of "will" and it is for everyone.  Jesus, the Christ (Yeshua) can raise us to his consciousness of divine will which means that we "will" to obey the will of Our Father that life is well with each of us.

Only fear keeps us from allowing others to experience what we want to experience.  In our teaching of God Provides is one Sunday's discussion about the "Widow and the Oil", a fascinating story, but one that every individual would do well to know and understand.

This is an Old Testament story and yet it shows us as we trust Our Father, there is always plenty for everyone.  Jesus showed us this plenteousness in feeding the five thousand with two loaves of bread and two fish.  O how we desire you to join us, to listen and learn, but just as Our Father cannot make you, neither can we, His servants.

We encourage you to awaken your power of "will" that you may grow spiritually and be guided, governed and directed by the Divine Wisdom and Divine Love of Our Father.  We encourage you that you may awaken to allow all your ways become ways of pleasantness and all your paths become paths of peace, joy and harmony.

We encourage you to allow every thought to gently come before your Divine Will and Divine Understanding so that the connection is secure between your outer world and your innermost world.

We encourage you to join us on the Third Sunday of each month as we study, question and discuss how these stories affect our individual life.

If Religion Works, What Am I Doing that Blocks My Good?

Part III -- July

You know it is amazing that we spiritual beings try to limit Our Father in so many ways.  There is no one way to do anything.  If Our Father had invented only ONE way to do anything, that alone would limit Him. 

Our Father is illimitable.  His ways are endless, vast and infinite.  When you are blocked, check your thinking, for if you are trying to fit Our Father in a "box" and to be more specific, in "your" box or a writer's box that is your block.

There is only one statement that runs throughout the Scriptures and that is: Our Father is the only Power in the Universe.  That is never a statement of limitation, but one of never-ending Power, a Power that we can trust, know, understand and become aware.  He is Infinite.

I loved Ernest Holmes, for in all that he brought to us his words were something like this, that we should never take everything he said as the final truth, but to prove it.  He did not say that we are to disprove it, but to prove it.  We sometimes get hung up with the idea that if what we have learned is a different "way" from another, somebody is wrong.

We are encouraged to advance our consciousness and to be open-minded.  There is such a thing as advancing our thinking.  If there was only one way to do Math, we would still be at 1+1=2-addition.  Algebra, Calculus and Quantum Physics would never have existed.  It is conceivable to believe that there is a Math that goes beyond Quantum Physics.  Our Father is constantly expanding.  Can we not expand with Him?

We get into the habit of right and wrong and sometimes I find myself in the same situation, but Something within me says, "Expand, expand.  There is no right or wrong, simple a better way, in fact, a wiser way to get results free from delay."  We are not speaking about things that are against Our Father, for that is not wise. 

It is good to obey, but do we like it?  Perhaps not, but that does not make obedience right or wrong, it simply displays wisdom for the person who practices it. Does that mean that the person that does not obey is wrong?  By no means, it is simply unwise.

The very first chapter of Proverbs tells us that: The fear (awe, wonder, admiration, respect) of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)

Let us be wise and let us pray for wisdom.

Part IV--August

We have the Cosmic Laws and we have the Commandments, but do we understand the difference in the two?

The Cosmic Laws govern the Universe. The Commandments were given to Moses on Mount Sinai for the people to obey as a pattern for conduct.

They are probably obeyed today about as readily as they were when Moses introduced them to the Hebrews.

What would happen if we were to obey the Commandments and the Cosmic Laws? Is it possible to find 12 people who could obey them for a period of 21 days?

This may sound cynical, but it is more realistic than you now believe. The Commandments are more involved than we understand. The first thing to understand is that the closer we come to Our Father the road to following the Commandments become narrower.

Let us look at it in the manner. As children the parameters, the boundaries that we have are very wide with a large area in which we can make mistakes before we get into serious trouble. Think of it as a road that has a pendulum above that swings back and forth according to the actions we take. We can travel forward or backwards. Should we travel backwards, our parents become concerned that we are not progressing as we should. As a result, we are encouraged to move forward.

As we grow we become aware of what makes us happy and how to get our parents to understand what we want. We learn that when we progress, we are rewarded by our parents, but we are unaware that the road we are traveling upon the boundaries are beginning to grow narrower, but the open road is still very large.

The more we learn about rules, regulations, laws, etc, the smaller the road becomes until one day we have a narrow road in which to travel and the pendulum has a very narrow area to swing back and forth.

As long as we stay within the limits of the road and the pendulum swings without going past the boundary of that road, we realize that we are safe. If we make a mistake that causes the pendulum to swing beyond the limit or the boundary of the road, we find ourselves in trouble and if it is far beyond the limits we find ourselves in serious trouble. We know better. We even say, "Something told me not to do such and such, but I did not listen." Here we find that we failed to obey that "Still Small Voice".

What blocks us? It is our disobedience, our leaning upon our own understanding, our misunderstanding that there is a Power within that will guide, guard and protect, but we have to submit, listen or decide to obey it. No one, absolutely no one is exempted, dismissed, eliminated, deleted or omitted from the Law of Cause and Effect. It means every Minister, Pastor, Priest, Pope, Lawyer, Judge, President, Congressperson, Senator, Representative Officer of every kind, teacher, moother, father, person, man, woman or child is never omitted from being under this Cosmic Law of Cause and Effect. It includes every created animal, mineral and plant--all creation.

Therefore, when we know the rules, understand the Laws of the Universe and obey the Commandments nothing blocks our good.

Part V-September

Do You Fear God?

In other words, are you afraid of Him? You may not realize that you are.  I was for many years.  After all, wasn't Jesus crucified upon a cross and he loved God?   Thus,the Bible may make you feel Our Father is harsh and unkind. 

But!  All through the scriptures, if you understand the words that hide much of the beauty that is Our Father, you will come to see and feel Him as a loving and caring parent.

Whatever you may understand about this, it is wise to get to know this Loving Father, for our times are very close to those of the past that are explained in the Bible and they are not funny or fun.

It is said that Jesus loved the Psalms and the Proverbs. The Psalms explain what King David had to say to Our Father. He talked to Him about "his" problems, which in many ways are the same as ours.

The Proverbs are a guide to living. They tell you what to do and why you need to do what you need to do. They are really the guidelines that many of our physical parents trained their children.

Today, you can tell which parents used the Proverbs and which parents never heard of them.

The Proverbs train you to be discipline in all your affairs and guide you to be evenhanded, filled with equity, honesty and to live in integrity.

And! If you learn this, you will find all your needs are met. It appears to understand more about this we need to understand the Law of Self Preservation.

It is well known that Our Father has a great sense of humor, but I think He forgot to teach it to me.

All of the information, the spirituality, the religion and the practical side of life are easier to stomach when and are given great attention when we can laugh.

The problem comes when we step into that dark hole and do not know that we are looking around in a place that Our Father has not made for us, but we ourselves have done this through blindness and ignorance. We do not have to stay here. We can move from it step by step, move by move and let joy enter into our souls.

This is what and how our classes will teach you. Join us this year and allow yourself to live no matter what the economy is experiencing. It truly has nothing to do with you.  It is your consciousness that matters.  Let this be the time in your life when you become aware of how to control what you think.
