What Does Easter Mean to You?

I suppose you are saying we have plenty of questions this month and that may be true.  However, there are many answers also.  I recall the program of music called: Eyes of Faith.  This is such a beautiful rendition for an Easter Musical.

When we look through the eyes of all those involved in the life of Christ, his crucifixion and his resurrection we have the wonderful and magnificent understanding of what it is to know Our Father.

Our Father truly is a God of wonders and a God of miracles, one who is great in all ways.  He listens to us and in all our wayward ways, He still loves us dearly.

I think that what I love most about Our Father who has created all things, the heavens, the moon and the stars, the planets and no matter what we do, the lies we tell, the disobedience he is still mindful of each of us.  What are we that He sees no wrong, but blesses us in what good we bring into visibility?  Yet, none of this can be so without Him.

Do we consider His Glory and how blessed we are to be given the privilege to know Him?  He keeps His promises, which are numerous and gladly rejoices when we thank Him.

He gave us the Christ that we could know what He truly is like, yet we failed to understand the teaching.  The Disciples, who dwelled with the Christ for 3 years still misunderstood thinking that the Kingdom of which he spoke was about an earthly kingdom.

Yeshua (Jesus Christ) was simply saying, "Just be good and all that you desire will come to you."  The Disciples thought they could force his hand.  Judas even thought what he did was what Our Father wanted him to do.  They did not understand the teaching.

The question is:  What does Easter mean to you?  Well it means praise.  It means glorifying Our Father.  It means worshiping Our Father for all the wonders He has brought into manifestation.  It means giving thanks everyday for joy, peace, love and harmony.  It means that I make ready myself, my heart, my home by removing every negative thought, idea and concept that is unlike Our Father that I may prepare the way for the Christ to be resurrected within, for The Time Is Now!

Let Easter be a time that you court the Presence.  Let the Christ in you through the teachings of Jesus be your redeemer, your friend and your Saviour.  Sing praise, hosanna and hallelujah and receive His amazing Divine Love today.

Greetings!

 What Way Are You Progressing?

In the time of Yeshua, the Sanhedrin, the Romans, Herod and the Levites all thought they were making great progress when they tried to stop Yeshua (Jesus the Christ) from teaching the Jews and Gentiles.   They did not realize they were committing a great injustice.

The question now comes to mind, "What way are you making progress in your life?"  Is yours an injustice, a crime, an injury to someone, some place or some thing?  Yeshua tried to teach us and so does the Scriptures that all anyone has to do is simply this: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Matthew 6:33

When we study the Bible (the Scriptures), often times we fail to understand that the Scriptures were written in Aramaic and translated into Latin, Greek and whatever other languages you may find.  The key to the original language has been forgotten.

Above you see "Kingdom of God" in bold italics.  In the original language that is an idiom and it means "God's counsel" or "a reign of harmony."  So that verse would read with the meaning of the idiom this way, "Seek ye first God's counsel, or a [rule] of harmony" and all these things shall be added unto you."  These are the things we teach on the First Sunday and Third Sunday so that you can understand how the Scriptures are guiding you and why it is important to study Our Father's words.

The word righteousness means "The quality of being right, honest.  One is righteous who acts from a sense of justice."  A Dictionary of New Thought Terms by Ernest Holmes, p. 127.

You can see that this makes grasping this solution far easier than what is translated in the Bible.  We take so many things literally without checking or researching the background of what you hear.

I remember when I substituted in Los Angeles and in the Elementary School there were 27 different languages, meaning there were children from 27 different countries with 27 different cultures in that one school.  One teacher was very upset when a child she was chiding did not look at her.  Instead the child held her head down.  She thought it was disrespect, but she was receiving the greatest honor from that child.  That was the way the children showed respect to their elders--never look them in the eye--bow the head and keep silent.

In understanding the Bible we too must understand the Idioms before we can truly understand how the Scriptures are guiding us.  During this Easter Season it is important to understand what Jesus was teaching, for his teaching truly does "save" us.  Join us on the First and Third Sundays and we will assist in helping you to understand.

Have We Learned Yet?Learn

"A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle."  Proverbs 18:19

We have entered troubled times, offended many and it mystifies me why others do not see it.  To us here at Universal Wisdom Fellowship, it is obvious that turning to Our Father is the wisest thing that we can do at this time.

It is time out for criticism.  If you are searching, then every Church, Fellowship, Temple or Synagogue must never be criticized.  Each one of those places is needed by someone.  The wise statement would be, "Thank you Father.  What I have found in my search is good, but for me something is missing.  What else do you have?"

It is very, very important that we cease the criticizing, the tearing down of another's character, the negative remarks, the jealousy and enviousness.  In the Lost Books of the Bible we find in the subheading of the Book of Clement this in Chapter III:  "Envy and emulation the original of all strife and disorder.  Examples of the mischiefs they have occasioned."  This book can also be read on this Website:

http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/text/1clement-hoole.html. Chapters 3 through 7 (these are short) and in Psalm 46:1 we find this, "God is our refuge and help in trouble."

All the stories we have covered in the Ancient Secrets of the Bible give us direction to how we must change our thinking; change our lives and what happens when we refuse to listen.

The time is now to stop and listen, hear the words and then live them.  Practice the 261 Truths that have been given to you.  The Truths that gave you problems accepting them, it would be wise to stop and question the reason why.

Ask:

  1. Do I feel unworthy?
  2. Am I jealous or envious?
  3. Do I wish that I could do this?
  4. Do I believe it is really a Truth or something made up?
  5. Do I have a problem with the one who gave me the Truth?

Wait until you hear an answer and then say:

  1. Show me gently and in a most pleasant way the reason I have problems accepting this Truth.

Our Father will answer.  It matters not who gives a Truth.  A Divine Truth is a Divine Truth and it cannot be changed.  Truths come from Our Father and they will not change no matter what we may want or how much education we may have or even the letters behind our name.

If we want to do His Will and not our own, listen, for perhaps Our Father is trying to tell us that we are going in the wrong direction. What would happen if we truly remembered God Is the Only Power in the Universe?

What would happen if we learned all of this today, right now and practiced every bit of it?

In Love and Delight,

What An Idea!

By Rev. Pat

 Open Bible

I guess we think we can do whatever we want.  With all this New Thought Teaching, perhaps we think that it is unnecessary to watch and know that nothing on this Earth or in this Universe is separated.

Some may think that the books opened and read in Revelations that someone is keeping on each of us is just some words somebody thought up.  Well, the record is kept and guess who is keeping it?  Ha, Ha, each of us.  We write down every word, every thought and every idea that comes to mind in our subconscious mind.  The subconscious keeps a very, very meticulous record of what we feel, think, every action and reaction (negative or positive) and anything else that comes through the mind and body.

If you ever journal with Our Father or Jesus and journal long enough and feel this One Power you are journaling with, you will find that when a thought that is negative even begins It will tell you to stop or make some kind of response for you to move from that idea.  Yet, it is still in your hands to follow the instructions.

One idea that would be wonderful to grasp is to realize that a 40 day fast does not have to be once a year--at Easter time.  You can have a 3 day fast from or to do something.  It can be a 10 day fast, or 21 day fast to reframe from speaking unkindly to your family members.  It can be a fast to be kind, sweet, gentle, loving and to think only good about life, about Our Father God, about Jesus or to praise every person who progresses.  You can even fast to love everybody.  And then do the good thing that you were fasting from for the rest of your life!

What a great idea!

Third Sunday Event -- The New Study

God Provides

This promises to be the greatest Bible Study incorporating Dr. Ernest Holmes and the Wisdom of Science of Mind that we have ever taught.

It is also a DVD study.  What you see with the eye has a greater impression upon the subconscious mind.  Join us on April 17, 2011 and celebrate the wonders of what our Father does for each of us everyday.

Come on time -- 10:00 A.M. -- and hear the Message for the morning before the discussion begins.

Universal Wisdom Fellowship wants to thank you for reading our Newletter, The Source Within and sharing it with others.  We never know when someone is searching.

Reading Spiritual material that is from another church does not mean you have to leave your local church.  This material will simply enhance what you hear where you are.  As we are encouraged to nevr cheat and steal from another, it also means that we must never cheat and steal from ourselves.

Let Us

Pray

Oh, my God, what a joy it is to live today.  We know you are the only Power in the Universe and you are preparing an even larger world in which we can entertain You and be entertained by You.

This word is from each of your children that we may see You, feel You and know You as our loving Father.

We realize that life is pure and in order for us to experience this purity, You will resurrect us to Your level of thought, ideas, Divine Love and harmony.  We feel you simply.  We speak our word simply and know that it takes only the best and the simplest that we can proclaim to bring you close to us.  We remove all the flowery words and say in an uncomplicated, straightforward and plain way, we love you.

We give thanks that You love us too.

And So It Is.  Amen
