Greetings!
When it appears that there are problems for the whole world, Something Greater is trying to tell us that changes need to be made.
This Something has pushed through on many occasions, but we have failed to tune into the call for listening.
When the problems are financial, something has gone awry with our faith and when the problems appear to be with our war-like nature, something is off-center with our Faith.
Our Father sees faith and finances inseparable. These two are always together as far as Our Father is concerned. They are joined, so to say, at the hip, but we continuously try to separate the two.
It simply says, we do not understand faith and we think the finances are something that we create. After all, we may hear some say, "I worked to bring those finances about."
God created all things and everything belongs to Him. "The earth is the Lord's and all it contains." Psalm 24:1 There is no other way to see this except that Our Father is the owner of all our possessions.
I have read that Psalm so many times as well as Rev. Fred, but maybe you skipped by its inference just as we did. As Religious Scientists we tend to pay more attention to changing the subconscious and fly by or skip over the Bible references that are included in the textbook.
Even his book, The Hidden Power of the Bible, originally published in February 1929 as The Bible in the Light of Religious Science was never introduced in any of our Science of Mind or Ministerial Classes. We found out about it when it was sent to us by Penguin Group March 8, 2007.
The Bible is well represented in the textbook including a chapter on "Finding the Christ", yet when we came to Connecticut and talked about Jesus, the Christ, we were told, "You are not teaching Science of Mind. Ernest Holmes does not talk about Jesus, the Christ."
Truly, we must be more alert, open minded and sensitive to what we read and search out every aspect until Truth reveals itself to us.
When we taught last year, Discovering God's Way of Handling Money, we were shocked to know that there are more than 2,350 references to money and possessions in the Bible and that Jesus talked more about money and possessions than anything else.
However, until we understand and decide to practice according to Our Father's way, no possession will last. Is there any wonder then, why we are in debt, finances low, jobs lost?
We have to recognize and say too, "...for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine;..." I Chronicles 29:11. This verse simply means that we are the caretakers, the managers or administrators.
Now the question is, "Are we doing a wonderful job of taking care of the earth, our finances and everything here on this beautiful earth? Are we taking care of our bodies?"

 What Our Father Wants from Us
You will notice that our new Website does not request that you "donate" to our Fellowship. That does not mean that we run our Fellowship on air, or that the Reverends are to fund everything because we are the Servants of God, either.
When I was looking over the presentation of the Home Page, I acted without asking Our Father if a "Donate" symbol should be done. I simply thought that a "Donate" symbol would be nice underneath the "Archive" symbol. This was a revision that I thought would be good. After all, every church I know or have seen on the Web has some means of providing the viewers with a way to donate, and it would be something new since we had never included a "Donate" symbol before on our site.
The moment I clicked on the "Submit" button, I knew that I had done something that was not directed by Our Father, but there was nothing I could do because there was no "retract" button available. I had to wait for the revision to come back to me.
When the revisions came back and that little button was there, it was so pretty in its deep purple fading upward to a lighter tone, but I had to say to the Web Designer, "Please remove it. Please do not be upset with me for the time that you took in placing it there."
This is what I heard from that still small voice: "You may not ask for donations. Each person that views this site must want to donate and then make the effort themselves. To ask for it says that you are initiating it and that you may not do. This is the way each person shows their thanks and their love to Me."
There was much more stated, but with this I was astounded. I was speechless. My thoughts started to turn to, "But how..." and the voice spoke again, "Do you trust Me.?" My answer was a resounding, "Yes." Shortly after that a tithe came in to us.
Of course, I blessed the persons who made the tithe and thanked Our Father and baptised the event in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I am certain Our Father has blessed these individuals in many, many ways.
The problem with us, if you will allow me to speak, is that we decide the way we want something to happen and if it does not happen that way, we feel that God, Our Father has either lied to us, is not real and therefore, why should we bother.
Trust is the definitive word and that sometimes feels like our stepping off the planet out into space with nothing under our feet to hold us up.
I do not know how to teach this, but this I know. What someone else does has nothing to do with what you are to do. Each is an individual created in the image and after the likeness, the resemblance of Our Father and each is responsible for following the guide and fulfilling their own life purpose. The soul, your soul depends upon it.

 The Angels Assist Us When We Need Them
By Rev. Pat On the last day of August 2010, I called forth a specific Angel along with many others, for I realized that I needed my faith strengthened. I checked the Angel books I have for the Angel of Faith, but did not find it quickly.
I turned to Yeshua (Jesus the Christ) and asked him what specific Angel accompanied him in the Garden of Gethsemane when he prayed to Our Father. The answer came quickly, "Sandalphon." I then looked for the description of Sandalphon and this Angel assists us with glory, prayer, money and faith when we need all our needs met.
In Psalm 91:11 it says, "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." The Scriptures give us the answers we need, but past experience is a great block for many of us.
Somewhere in the writings of Dr. Ernest Holmes he told us to never criticize any religion. We here at Universal Wisdom Fellowship say all religions are necessary. All are needed. There may be some who would like to think that the religion they are embracing is the ONE true religion, but we say they all are true. They are true to those who need what is taught.
We have no right to ever take away any person's religion without giving them something better and if the something better is something that we are trying to convince another to believe, then we are to remember: Change a person against his will, he/she is of the same opinion still.
What are the Website and the Newsletter about? They are simply an introduction to a new way of thinking in many different areas. You always have dominion over your beliefs and this teaching never takes anything away from you. It always adds to your faith.
I remember a call that came in one day in which the young lady had been receiving our Newsletter, The Source Within, for a couple of years. This day she called to tell us to take her off the mailing list. I immediately ask her forgiveness if we had offended her in any way.
Her response, "On no, you have enhanced me. I have returned to my church, for I understand fully what they were trying to say to me. I have rejoined and my church membership service is on Sunday. I thank you so very much for what you have taught."
If it had been possible, I would have attended her membership service to honor her.
All churches must allow an individual to grow wherever that growth may come. If anything otherwise, we are trying to take God's place in their lives.
