Summer Is Over

It is amazing, but summer is over.  We all know it too well.

It is time to advertise our Fall Classes.

I certainly could relax a few more weeks, but this coming weekend will lead us into our next activities at Universal Wisdom Fellowship.

We have announced that we will begin our First Sunday Gathering of Minds on Sunday, September 5, 2010 which is Labor Day Weekend.  Perhaps, some have made plans already to enjoy the last holiday ending the Summer.  We honor you plans and reschedule our Gathering of Minds to begin October 3, 2010.  Have a beautiful Labor Day Weekend.

Love and Light,
Rev. Fred and Rev Pat

Dream with Me
By Rev. Pat Ogletree

What if this beautiful Earth Our Heavenly Father created really is an earth in which the inhabitants here will never age?

What if the thoughts of "greed" entered the minds of the first inhabitants and they found that to remain youthful gave no enjoyment, because there was no money in it.  As a result they began to find ways to change the Earth's energy rays to those that would bring about the idea of aging and from that point on youthfulness lost its gravity -- its significance and importance on each individual.

When Rev. Fred and I were attending Science of Mind Classes at the Institute of Religious Science in Los Angeles, our teacher, Dr. Vetura Papke often told us that the aging of Moses was not so, that was not the way it was.

In much of the incarnation and after death studies, we have learned that one returns to youthfulness after a transition is made.  Yes, I am saying that we live after death.
Holmes tells us that if we have a body here, we must have a body in the next life.  I have to say those that I have seen coming back as "spirits" and I did not know them in their earthly lives, I saw as youthful souls even though they were seniors when they made their transition.  This is why I speak so very much of youthfulness, thinking youthful thoughts and allowing yourself to forget the thoughts of "aging."

One idea that could support this is the creation of Adam and Eve.  We think that Our Father created the  entire Universe in a matter of seven days.  We know that our time is not the same as God's time, so why do we believe that a day is 24 hours?  A day is a period of time.
So what would you think if you made a transition and find all your beliefs are laid bare.  In them is a belief of a Gate-Keeper of death.  You are bent over, grey haired, wrinkled skin, looking and feeling tired.  You knock, the Gate-Keeper opens the door and you ask, "May I enter, I am ready?"  The Gate-Keeper looks at you and says, "What are you doing here?  I have not even had a chance to blink!  Besides, all my children here are youthful.  What happened to you?"

 Age? Ha, Ha!
By Rev. Pat Ogletree

So many still believe that there is Truth in the idea of "age."  These persons have misunderstood Divine Intelligence is ageless.  Since we are created in Their image and after Their likeness, then we too are ageless.  The affirmation below is one that may assist you in getting your subjective mind to understand what you mean by age.  You may copy it, use it or pass it to others.

"Age is only the sum total of accumulated years.  I release it from being any part of my youthfulness, health and strength, for I am created in the image and after the likeness of an ageless Father.  I release every thought, idea, picture or suggestion that is in opposition to this affirmation."

Somewhere along the way it entered the mind of "man" that "old" and "age" is synonymous -- one and the same, equal!  Ha, ha, no such thing.  "Old age" metaphysically is "a false belief deeply imbedded in the race mind.  It accepts biological law as the ultimate for man instead of the law of God, which is eternal life in the body." [1]
"Age" metaphysically is a cycle or a dispensation....Age to mortal man is the measurement of the life or existence of a person or thing.  It is based on the false concept of time as reality...  [2]

It is like those who believed that the sun went around the earth until someone realized that the sun stayed still and the earth went around the sun.  Now that we know, we are as happy as Jay Birds.

It also entered the mind of man that we are to live three score and ten years.  It was not until we heard Dr. Robert Schuller, Jr state that we are given at least 120 years that we now know the Truth.   The Scriptures told us long ago.  (Genesis 6:3)

What would happen if you found out that 120 years is for those who believe they are human, but for those who believe they are "spiritual beings" will live as long as they please, even if it is 5,268 years?    Who knows what Our Father will do?

Have you read about Methuselah?  He lived to be 969 years of age.  The whole idea is this:  Do we believe God, the Bible, Yeshua (Jesus) or do we put more trust, more belief, more knowledge in man?

If you believe God, the parks would have swings for adults, 3-wheeled bicycles to rent for the day, tables where you could shoot marbles and Merry-Go-Rounds.  Afterall, God calls us His children.

However, each individual has the dominion to live the life they desire -- one day or 1 million days, happy or unhappy.

Change?  Why Change?

Now for the more serious side of life.  I awakened one morning a few days ago half asleep and half awake to hear these thoughts come to mind.  It is about change and how we see it as humans.

"Change is something that you view as your having done something wrong, wherein if you would look out a different window and see change as "growth" it would be more delightful to you."

We arrive on this plane of existence as helpless as a baby through birth unable to do things for ourselves.  We depend upon those who are our parents to help us and to take care of us for a certain length of time.

Being a child of Our Father is the same process.  Our Father enjoys taking care of us.  Hence, as we grow in spirit, we grow to accept what we call "change" and Our Father calls "spiritual growth", which is maturity.

In the spirit that we accept growth, is the same spirit in which everything following is accepted and comes to us.  In other words, if we resist, then good or what we have set in motion comes through resistance, hard times, and difficult ways.

It would be wise to see change differently.  See it as spiritual growth and something that is for our highest good, but see it with joy or through the eyes of Our Father.  This way change will delight every aspect of our life.

Remember, change never means that we have done something wrong or we are bad.  It simply means one of three things:
1.      Our skills need improving or we need to increase our knowledge in a particular area.
2.      We have a tendency to think those above us are critical or dislike us.
3.      We are resistant, stubborn, uncooperative and refuse to obey or follow instructions.

All change, no matter what it is, is for our highest good.  Simply look for the good in what happens in our life and we will begin to see the difference.  Life becomes more enjoyable.

Love and Light,
Rev. Pat
