Greetings!
We Often Hear, but Do We Really Listen? I asked a question of the Lord, then turned to do something else. I heard what He said, but I was not listening.
Often times we ask questions and then turn our attention to something else. When we return in mind, we wonder why we did not get an answer. March 20, 2010 is the beginning of spring and it would be magnificent if we would work on listening. Spring means that something is about to come alive and since there is a significant difference in hearing and listening though it is subtle, it is a wonderful time to give birth to more powerful listening skills.
Scientifically, hearing takes place in the ear by way of sound, but listening means that our attention must be alert, aware, awake and responsive, therefore we must be ready to take note of what we hear. We have a purpose here on this Earth and embracing the idea of considering the other person as a kindly thing to do, our listening skills can grow. Every person has worth, no matter the creed, color of skin, culture or degree of education. A Practitioner must be skilled in both areas, but most prevalent in listening, because this is how they will know what to pray for or treat to bring a healing from Our Father/Mother God or what we like to say, "Higher Power." Let your day begin with giving attention first to this Higher Power then to your friends, relatives and others you may know. Loving You Dearly,
Rev. Fred and Rev. Pat |

OUR EXAMPLE YESHUA, KNOWN TO US AS JESUS THE CHRIST By Rev. Pat,
Jesus loved the Proverbs and the Psalms. Knowing this, I decided to begin reading them many years ago and to interpret them according to my level of understanding. As time passed, I began to hear a number and found that the number I heard corresponded to something that was happening in my life if I applied it to the Psalms. I began to read one each day and ask for my Psalm and Proverb that was for my highest good for that day. Recently, I received for about the 6th time Psalm 37. Since it had come to me so many times, I thought that perhaps I was not giving it my full attention. Prayers had been given for the Earth as I know it to be an ecosystem and if one thing is out of order, it causes a domino effect. When Psalm 37 came to me, awareness to each verse was closely studied. It appeared that Verses 4 and 5 were the 2 verses that were meant for my scrutiny and to know that the rest of the Psalm substantiated verses 4 and 5. The word "delight" was first examined in the dictionary for its meaning and then the Thesaurus for synonyms. This is what came to me: Verse 4 reads: Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Verse 5: Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. I was surprised at the many synonyms for the word delight. This is what verses 4 and 5 means to me:
- Enjoy myself in the Lord;and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be joyful within myself in the Lord;and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Jump with glee within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be glad within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be enchanted within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be amused within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be satisfied within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Take pleasure within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Appreciate myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Revel (take great pleasure) within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be charming within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be happy within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
- Be charming within myself in the Lord; and he shall give me the desires of my heart.
a. Commit my way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and he shall bring it to pass.
The word Lord means that Creative Force within us, the Law that abides-Mind in action, God, the Christ is the One Lord within our soul and the I Am-I Am that I Am. Try reading this beautiful Psalm and see what it does for you. When you ask for answers, God, Our Father does answer.

THE WISDOM OF SCIENCE OF MIND
By Rev. Pat Ogletree Chapter 13 in the Science of Mind Book by Ernest Holmes is truly pure wisdom explained for use in the life of an individual. There is one Subtopic: Look Only at What You Want that is the cause behind all our problems of covetousness, because this is where we get our "wants" and our "needs" mixed up. The problem arises when we think what has gone on in our life before is something that must continue in our life indefinitely. It was made very clear in our study of Joshua that we must learn to separate our wants from our needs if we want to be successful in becoming pure in our thinking, in our loving and particularly in living free from stress and strain. It would be wise to write down our wants, all of them and then to read what we have written to analyze if all the wants are really true and pure needs or frivolous wants. The Scripture says, "For my God shall supply all your needs." Now we need to understand what are "needs?" Over and over it is stated that God will take care of our shelter, our food and health was given to us from the beginning. We should never ask to be given health, but shown what we have forgotten about health. Yes, we all know that there are those who are born with certain dis-eases, but is this Our Father's doings? Remember, we are given dominion over our lives of at least 120 years! Many of us get into trouble long before the 120 years are reached. Somewhere in some lifetime, either this one or another, we have taken on the idea that we are unworthy of health or not good enough for our needs to be fulfilled. God does not lie!!! We disobey our parents when were advised in the 10 Commandments: Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God has given thee. (Exodus 21:12) Honor means to respect and to obey. Land? What land is God talking about? Land is whatever spiritual condition we are living in at a time in our life. The Promised Land for the Israelites was a higher spiritual condition than they had ever known before. That is the same condition for us. Therefore, it is wise to turn away from any negative situation in which you find yourself and embrace only the affirmative side of life. "Are you waitin' for one of them financial miracles?" If you are, you will never see the life you want, nor have your needs met because you are looking at how it is right now. Seek, knock and doors will open. Words are the key to change. We must search the words and find out their "inner" meaning if the Scriptures are to be our guide for living.

But You Have to See It That Way
and Care About Living

TRUTH OF YOU
All the statements you have made about Divine Love and Wisdom are the Truth of You. When the subconscious has more "Truths" than lies, you will understand your own divinity. Our Father loves you dearly. Always remember that and also that you are a "Child of God."

Do you fear life? Do you fear success? Do you fear Love? If you are not moving forward, you are fearing. It is just that simple. Read what Paul said, God wants you to abound! But you are afraid. Why not give all your fears to God and let Our Father handle them. Our Father wants to experience Life, not limitation. Our Father only knows how to flow, not stand still. Did you hear the Scientist say, "The Universe is not only expanding, but at a very rapid pace now?" Give Him you heart and let Divine Love and Wisdom flow.
We love you dearly,
