Divine Love Is the Way

I do not know if you know the Story of Ruth in the Bible or not, but it is truly a magnificent Divine Love Story filled with Wisdom for all ages.  We would love to show this some Sunday during the month of February and would hope that many would come to see it.

Our Father does not look at cultures, races, empires, or personalities.  He reads the heart of individuals that turn to Him in Love.  When the heart is filled with love or an individual shows much love, God is there.  This is the way it was with Ruth, a Moabites from a country that worshipped false gods.  Yet, she ended up being the ancestor of David, chosen by Yahweh, to be King of the Israelites.  Who knows what God will do?

It is said that Ruth's love was pure. This is the Love that we, too want for our lives, for Divine Love to live and be pure in us.

We worship the same God that Ruth worshiped only the name is different.  The purer the love we have for Him, the greater His attention and outpouring.

This is the month to practice developing a true, pure Divine Love.  Our Truth of You affirmation can help you develop this love.  The month of February will be totally focused upon developing love.  The love that we want to expand is a pure Divine Love filled with Wisdom, for the two must be developed together-Love and Wisdom.  Our "Truth of You" statements will build this in your heart and the Meditations will support and sustain what you are building.

I know that you probably are inundated with many emails about becoming this or that, but it will be up to you which one or ones you choose to really practice.  We hope our "Truth of You" will be your choice.

In His Service,
Rev. Pat

K.I.S.S.
By Rev. Pat Ogletree

I like to think of The Father in this way:  When Jesus left Our Father to come to Earth as an Example for God's children, He gave him a kiss, "K.I.S.S.", which means: Keep It Simple Son and he did.

We as a people do not really understand that which is simple.  Somehow, simplicity by-passes our understanding.  We think that if it is simple something is wrong so we seek to find another answer.

Our teachers stated that Dr. Holmes taught the Ministers going out in the field to "keep it simple."  Have we in some way associated difficulty with being wise?  Is this what has brought us into all kinds of trouble?  Do we believe that if we can "mystify" whatever the people desire to know that it will make us sound wise?

I am simply asking the questions here and maybe you have some real answers.  I know that simplicity works.  We are not called God's "children" for nothing.  Nor are we asked to become as a little child for nothing.

When problems persist, why not ask Our Father to show you the simplest way to see what needs to be done.  Why not ask Him to specify each step simply and see what happens.  Remember, this is between The Father and you, not the world.  You can also ask him to state it in a way that you will be able to teach it to your children, your best friend or even your mate.

As a teacher, I have taught many different grades, but more in Elementary School because that is where I enjoyed teaching most.  To state something very simple and watch the light bulb go off in their eyes was fascinating.  There was so much joy, but I also heard the adults as I gave them the same explanation say, "I am not one of your "elementary" students.  So, I learned to speak things simply and then to say the same thing in difficult terms.  It was then up to each person to choose what they understood.

Our Father is so magnificent and so intelligent, yet He seeks to give us simple explanations.  Do not let our undeveloped self-esteem and self-image get in the way.  We are on a journey of learning, of becoming aware, a journey of enlightenment.  It does not matter what problems you may be going through, what Darshan you are experiencing.  Seek now to look beyond experiences and see the beauty within that Our Father has bestowed upon you no matter what is going on.  The journey is wonderful if you want to improve your circumstances.

Jesus never saw a sick person, a poor person, an unhappy person or any of the negative appearances that was before him.  He always saw the Truth of You, of who you really are and what you are.

This is a wonderful month to begin the practice of loving everyone, their Divine Spirit, the Christ that is within them.  As you love, so are you loved.

Be God's Beloved,
Rev. Pat

A Heart Filled with Love
By Rev. Pat

I was watching a DVD about one of the Bible characters and as I was watching, thoughts ran through my mind when certain lines were spoken by the characters.  It appears that there are always either wars or famines denoting some kind of lack.  As I saw this, I was reminded of our world today.

It is so strange to me that we look at appearances when Jesus taught not to look at what is happening at the moment.  But we become apprehensive and forget the teaching.  So, I realized that we can compare the famines in the Bible with the economy of our world, our U.S.A.  The famines at those times were about the lack of rain pouring from the heavens to water the Earth that crops would grow, water for the animals to drink and people hoping it would flow.

The lack of money to purchase food, water or whatever is needed is like the famines.  There is a short supply in most people's pockets today to meet the needs of the day, but God, Our Father always provides if we have faith.  This was Ruth's thinking and a very wise one that is wise to adopt.

Thoughts:
So Moab is like our cities here?  The people serve many gods.  According to the First Commandment a "god" can be anything of which we give great attention above and beyond, Our Heavenly Father, e.g. money, clothes, friends, cars, houses or a "life style".  Any of these things can be "a god."

These Moabites were much like us today.  Our Father is put in a second place position or not in any position.  The Moabites valued their wealth and prosperity and what was right in their own eyes.  Is that not somewhat the way we see things today?  The major character (Ruth) was a worshiper of many gods, but in meeting one person who was kind and knowledgeable about what this One God (Naomi) Ruth's faith climbed new heights and even helped in restoring wisdom and love for Our Father to those who had lost the love for God and faith in or of God.
Thoughts:
Do we wait for death to get out of these circumstances?  I say do not wait for death to rest in God's arms.  Rest there now!  God loves each and everyone.  Feel His arms around you.  For when a transition is made nothing really changes except you cannot return to the body on this plane of existence and live on this earth as you were.  You pick up life right where your thoughts have left you--be they affirmative or negative.

I remember even when Jesus made the transition his resurrected body that he was receiving when he met Mary Magdalene was not complete.  The change was not totally made, for he asked her not to touch him.

Life continues.  I think about when we leave our physical home for whatever reason, we step through the opening, close the door, but our life continues.  We think the same things.  A transition is similar.  The only difference is that we can not re-enter our home on this plane and it is said that whatever you think happens instantly.

The stories of characters in the Bible tell us to trust Our Father and it is about teaching us to love and have the faith in Our Father.  Whatever situation we find ourselves, if or when we pray He answers.

Thoughts:
The problem is that our heart is not pure and since The Father reads the heart, for this is how He knows us, our answers come according to what is in our heart-what we truly believe.

My thoughts were to say to you to join us that you may come to know more about the characters in the Bible, how they got into trouble, but more, how that got out of trouble.  Some will say that I am too much into the Bible thinking that Ernest Holmes did not speak about the Bible in this way.

Did you know that in 2006 an edition: The Hidden Power of the Bible: What Science of Mind Reveals About the Bible and You was published by Ernest Holmes?  He originally published this book in February of 1929 as The Bible in the Light of Religious Science?

You see, I know our personal mission at Universal Wisdom Fellowship is to assist you in realizing that the Scriptures are to teach you about the life we live, about living abundantly and about pure Divine Love and Wisdom.  As you understand the characters in the Scriptures and our relationship to God, Our Father is revealed.

One member came on Sunday, January 30, 2010 thinking that it was the first Sunday in February and she saw the movie.  She was really impressed and related it to today.  We know you will enjoy this movie and that your life will be changed as a result of seeing how Ruth changed from worshiping many gods to serving only one.

Would Knowing More About the Bible Characters Help You In Your Life?

We cannot emphasize enough about the characters in the Bible as important examples for us.  If we understand how they got in trouble it will help us and guide us away from the trap of trouble.

Even more, if we can then see and understand how these characters solved their problems then we can understand how to get out of our own problems.

Prevention is the best road to harmony.  Never allow yourself to get into trouble.  Perceive ahead of any decisions you are making what lies ahead.  Our Father is the best Source for such perception.

We bring to you Ancient Secrets of the Bible, which tells of stories that many believe God cannot do or answer and yet the characters keep telling those around them to trust in "Yahweh" and He will bring you through.

They, like many of us, prefer to believe that we know more than God, Our Father and  can do more.  Never be deceived by this, for it will never stand up permanently.  Consider traveling to see and discuss the Secrets of the Bible.  Are you a believer or sceptic?  You can choose the ones you want to know more about or see them all.  We are at some time in our life there characters.
