Personal Message
This is an exciting time for us to learn in an easy way what we can do when things are not working out well for us.
The one thing that we do when things become tough and blocks us is that we give up on God, on church and everything that keeps us safe.
If we are short of funds, we stop giving. If money is tight, we stop going to church. The statement is, "I cannot afford money for gas." If we lose our job, we generally stop praying and allow fear to fill our mind. In other words, we cut God out because it appears God has cut us out.
If we are truly smart, this is the time to tithe, to give, to go to church, to listen to God's words, read His words of Truth, to do everything we can to put God first in our life.
The Scripture says in the Scriptures, "But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth..." Deuteronomy 8:18.
This is important to know and remember, for wealth appears not only where money resides, but in relationships, in the body and one can have a wealth of knowledge also.
We shut out Spirit because we cannot see the support. We do not comprehend that Spirit is to be felt not seen and Spirit works in its own time frame, not ours.
It seems to me that if we want success, we must have a tight, loving relationship with God, Our Heavenly Father.
Jesus the Christ shows us what kind of heart, spirit and mind we must develop to have this relationship.
I ask you, "What will it take for each one to understand what the Wisdom of Science of Mind teaches us and how long before we apply the Principles?" One day's application will not do it. This is a lifetime pattern of practice.
There is so much to understand and it cannot be learned in one application. It did not take us one affirmation to get in the fix we are in now.
It would be wise not to miss a moment to gain knowledge. Know that in your world, you are God, which gives you power over all your circumstances, conditions, your mind and your body.
God is all there is.
On the first Sunday of October we address these thoughts. Join us as we discuss, "How to Handle God's Money. You know that it is God's money. We simply manage it.

Perfection Is True Prosperity
This may sound illogical, but it is not. Jesus asked us to seek perfection and perfection is true prosperity. He understood Our Father knowing that the seed of perfection is within each of us. We are spiritual when all things are in place and are harmony and balance.
When any one of the three areas is out of harmony meaning that one is greater and another is lesser, we are not balanced and in actuality, we are not spiritual. We are not in agreement with the Divine Plan. What is this plan? Simply that first we will seek first Kingdom of Heaven and all things will be given unto us. Second, we will give recognition to Our Father and third that we will honor, exalt and praise His Holy Name.
If one area is greater than another, then we are recognizing something other than Our Father and honoring that "something" and not Our Father-Mother God who owns everything in this Universe. Yes, God owns everything. We are simply the managers.
In our October "Discovering God's Way of Handling Money" Small Group, we will find that the Bible has the answers to more than 2,350 verses dealing with money and possessions. In fact, Jesus spoke more on money and possessions than on any other area.
The Bible has always been a special revelation to me, but this is surprising that God wants us to know the answers to our financial difficulties and these Scriptural verses are both spiritual and practical.
Therefore, the material and the spiritual must be balanced. We are to know that we are the managers of God's money. Our spirit belongs to Him. Our mind is the Mind of God and our physical body is made of the Essence of God.
Our Wisdom of Science of Mind gives us the groundwork and provides us with the basic reasons for knowing who we really are. It amazes me that so many refuse to recognize the Scriptures because they feel these wonderful verses are so difficult to understand. If you know who you are, there is nothing difficult about it. When you are ready to read a verse or verses in the Bible, just simply ask: "Lord show me what you mean and what it means to me at my level of understanding. Make it so clear that I will get it the first time around. Let it be joy to my soul, food for my spirit and light to my path. Show me how to raise my level of thinking to your level of understanding, my level of understanding to your level of knowledge and illuminate me with your wisdom. Light up my life. Let us have fun together this day."
The kind of perfection Jesus is speaking of has nothing to do with being fanatical. It is strictly harmony, meaning all things in balance, nothing greater than Our Father. Give all honor, praise, thanksgiving and recognition only to Him, our Creator.
To embrace the idea of balance one is to recognize God as the only Power in the Universe. To hearken, meaning to listen and pay attention to the voice of the Laws of the Universe is important. The Father must be the guiding light.

 THE DIVINE PLAN

True prosperity is perfection in all areas of our life-spirit, soul, body and emotion. A strong body is necessary to express a strong mind. We can know that this is the Divine Plan. Fillmore tells us, "Healing of the body is fundamental in the outworking of God's perfect-man idea....The mental must gain the supremacy and the physical must lose prominence." We are to gain the wisdom that the body is the temple of our Lord God Almighty and that the mind is the gateway to harmony, which we also call heaven.
This idea of perfection is simple, but we know that simplicity is sometimes difficult to incorporate in our life. Somewhere along the way, we have taken on the idea that unless things are difficult, there is no value or worth in simplicity.
Whatever has appeared to separate us from Our Father, we are to unify. One of the first attempts to do this is to integrate the Law of giving and receiving. This Law to some is one that appears to say we would prefer to receive then give, but it does not work that way. Whatever we want, we must give it first. That way the subconscious has a picture of what it is to bring to the thinker. This we can say is a step in developing spiritually. If we are receiving first, that is to say the picture is already in mind and if that is true, what we are now experiencing is what we will continue to experience. This is very important to understand. Your mind cannot receive what you have not seeded.
Some way each must learn that it is not wise to continue to take and take because another gives and you never give back. This hurts the receiver and it also hurts the giver, because the Law of the Cosmos is to give then receive and most have it backwards or believe it is alright to live out life by only receiving. No person on the outside of any individual owes another or must serve another, but the individual does owe something to him/herself and that is Honesty and Truth.
In our Lessons, we hope this can be made clear free from anyone misunderstanding that the churches who teach this Law is not teaching it for their own aggrandizement, but for the purpose of the individual to gain understanding, knowledge, and wisdom.
Perfection is also balance, which means that all areas has to be of equal strength, value, of importance and in harmony-nothing out of proportion to the rest. In mind it is portrayed as emotionally calm.
Balance is a difficult lesson, because it feels so out of balance, but that is simply because it calls for change. However, it appears that we as a people would prefer to remain as we are. Presently, we are out of balance because we give a greater attention to money, the material than to Our Father-Mother God, the spiritual. Therefore, true prosperity does not exist in our livingness. Until we get it straight on how to handle God's Money, there can be no perfection and no true prosperity. Therefore, this calls for a great shift in mind, body, spirit and emotion.
God cannot force you to grow, nor can the Ministers, or Universal Wisdom Fellowship, but we can present to you the Divine Plan, the many verses in the Bible that lead to growth and guide you to a place of understanding thereby releasing to you the highest form of knowledge and wisdom.

Learn How to Contemplate Only What Is Desired
Learn how to think of yourself as you would like to be free of contradicting the good of others.
Learn How to Overcome Any Problem
All things are possible, but poverty, disease, and other human ills do not have any basis in Divine Mind continued existence, therefore we can learn how to release these human ills. Remember thoughts are things!
And Most of All, Learn How to Prepare the Way for a New World
Spiritual healing is an established fact in human experience, so, why not establish a healthy, happy and prosperous life?
