Dear Friends:

We are writing to ask your help in identifying potential Board members for the Consumer Health Foundation. We are looking for individuals eager to make a contribution to their community and willing to devote their knowledge, time and creative energies to advancing our mission aimed at assuring that all residents in our region have equal access to quality health care, and to addressing the social and economic conditions that shape the health of our communities. We are committed to building and sustaining a diverse board. At this time, we are particularly looking for volunteers with a background in finance and investments, and/or people who live and/or work in Northern Virginia. The names of people you recommend will then be forwarded to our Nominations and Governance Committee. Also, please feel free to nominate yourself.  

To assist you, we are enclosing:

• A list of current Board of Trustees members, and
• A summary sheet with basic background information on the foundation and our most recent work.
