Here we are in the middle of winter already! I hope you're keeping warm and finding time to quilt up a storm. These cool days are the perfect time to get a steaming mug of coffee and quilt all day in your pajamas.

Choosing a Longarm that's Right for You
When you start thinking, dreaming and planning a longarm machine purchase you may have many questions. The main thing you need to think about is which longarm machine is going to be the right one for you. Ask yourself what size quilts you would like to quilt. Will you be quilting as a business and completing quilt tops for customers? If you're dreaming about owning a longarm machine, why not give me a call and we can sit down and go through the various machines and options offered by APQS.
When I started my longarm quilting business in 2004 I purchased an APQS Ultimate 1 to replace the short arm system that I had previously been using. It was amazing - the first time I did a queen size quilt I realized how much easier the APQS machine operated! You just load your quilt and go! No more turning your quilt like I had to do with the short arm system.
Then in 2006 I purchased LongArm Supplies and decided to upgrade to an APQS Millenium. I love my Millie! My favorite part is the stitch regulator. I could never go back to a machine without that awesome feature.
At the maintenance class taught by Mark Caraher, APQS Sales, he asked me to become an APQS Dealer. My first reaction was, "As if I have time!". However, after much consideration I realized that this would help me better serve my customers. I'm very pleased with my decision and am looking forward to all that this new venture will bring.

New in Store: Hartley Work Table
This aluminum and acrylic work table is designed to fit over the rollers and provide a convenient place for all those tools i.e., pins, needles, marking devices and rulers, needed to complete the job at hand.
Another easy feature with the Hartley Work Table is: move your laser light to the pin on the front to quilt block inserts while you do your free motion around it.
