If you happened to watch the Oscar Award Ceremony on Sunday, February 22, 2009, aside from which actress had on the best looking dress, probably the most frequently asked question was, "I wonder what Dan & Terri thought of Slumdog Millionaire."

               As someone, who is part of the group we've designated as, "likely interested in movies," I am sending you a special, interim review. If you would like to be taken off the list, return this, or any email, and say, movies-no, or, if you don't want to miss out, movies-yes, as the case may be.

                With the Academy Awards behind us, you might expect that Terri and I would give two thumbs way up! for Slumdog Millionaire, using hindsight.  But, we had—honestly--already made that decision, when we saw it on the night before the Oscars.

                So, yes, it got lots of acclaim, and you know that already.  But why?  How does this movie match perfection from a storyteller’s perspective?
