Greetings!
As I sit down to write this newsletter,  my son is preparing to enter his sophomore year of high school (crazy!) and my daughter, her first year of middle school (crazier!). It has been a busy summer and while I'm sad to see my favorite season come to an end, there are many exciting beginnings on the horizon.
First things first. You'll notice that my newsletter masthead has changed from "Frittabello" to "The Purposeful Parent" to reflect my new direction of being a mommy blogger, speaker, and parenting mentor. This has been evolving for some time (see my new Facebook page) and I'm so excited to tell you more about it.
My journey with Frittabello baby gifts was focused on bringing the joy of journaling to parents and grandparents. My extended product line brought many a smile to people's faces as they purchased these gifts for expectant friends and family members.
I will continue to offer my baby gifts on my website and showcase them at various events, but they will no longer be promoted via these newsletters. In honor of a great run with my retail hat, I've put all Frittabello baby gifts on sale until the end of the year. You'll want to stock up as inventory is limited! Now - what can you expect in the new "Parenting for Purpose" newsletters? - Additional information about how to implement my "Save Mom's Sanity" tips from my popular "It's Not Chronic Fatigue Syndrome...It's SuperMom Syndrome" workshop to help you overcome your SuperMom tendencies.

Just like in my children's book, "Frittabello and his Angel", where Frittabello learns to listen to his heart and the guidance of his guardian angel, I too have been paying attention to that same inspiration for some time. Here's what I've learned. What I enjoy most is talking to and helping other moms with their parenting and mompreneur challenges. It brings me joy to be able to provide inspiration and guidance to them to help them succeed in their passions of being a mom and a small business owner. Since I can relate to so many of the challenges they face in both roles, I can use my experience and expertise to help them achieve their parenting and small business goals.
I'm so excited to be offering these new services and programs to you! More information about upcoming events and activities will be forthcoming. I hope you will remain a loyal subscriber so you won't miss out on any of it!

The day you learn that your parents don't know everything can be a little scary. Read more about when I learned this and how my son found out his mother is no electronics expert!  I've been very impressed with the moms I've interviewed for my blog, regarding their passions and how they are helping parents and children. Fern Tausig, a certified hypnotist, teaches us all to "watch our words" when speaking to our children, especially before age 8. Are you spending your valuable time with senseless activities? I know I was - until a revelation about my Spam message came to me. Read more about this insight and how I reclaimed precious minutes of my day. People usually compliment me on my eyes and my straight teeth. While my orthodontist is the one to thank for my pearly whites, it is my mother whose eyes I have.
