Summer is finally here! It is my absolute favorite time of year. School is out, days are longer, and... it's almost my birthday! 
Having a summer birthday was not something I was happy about while I was in school. All the kids that had birthdays during the school year brought in cupcakes for the class and everyone knew it was their birthday. They got special treatment from the teacher and sometimes they even got out of homework! While I did not have this experience since I have a July birthday, the day still remains special to me.
Birthdays are like New Year's to me. It's a day to start over. A day to reflect back on the previous year and see how much you've grown or what you have accomplished. It's a day to renew and revitalize. It's a day to feel special.
I'm looking forward to my birthday this year for many reasons. Mostly because I get to look back on what has probably been the best year of my life. While it's been a busy and challenging year being a new "mom-preneur" with Frittabello, I've loved every minute of it. Because of my business, I've met the most wonderful people and I'm so grateful.
So as I look forward to turning 29 (well, ok, maybe not!), I send blessings to all of you and wish you continued peace and joy in your lives.

Coming Soon!
I've been busy working on some updates to my website. If you have visited recently, you may have noticed some new content on my home page and updates to events and news. I also updated my press kit (for when Oprah comes a-calling!)
 My next big update will be to my blog. I have really enjoyed sharing my experiences and "musings" with you but I want to expand it and re-organize it a bit.
I'm also going to be sharing my journaling tips for those of you who are recording the story of your child's life in the My Life baby journal.
I hope you will join me on this new adventure. I'll be sure to let you know when my new blog is ready and I look forward to hearing from you in the comments.
