Spring has Sprung!
As I look out my window today, I see glorious sunshine streaming through. It is a picture-perfect day and so I took a moment to enjoy my spring flower garden that is in full bloom. The colors and aromas were breathtaking and I had forgotten how beautiful these flowers were.
Conversely, yesterday as I drove down the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut, I witnessed the utter devastation of the many trees in the wooded areas surrounding this historical roadway. Recent rain and windstorms uprooted more trees than I could count. And since these trees have not yet begun to bloom, it looked like a tangled mess of broken limbs and twisted branches.
These two opposing pictures made me think of just how powerful nature is - not only from a state of rebirth, but also the state of loss. And while many in Connecticut are still cleaning up from the storm damage, it's amazing to me to see the spring bulbs peeking through showing us all that no matter what nature throws our way, it always rebounds.
Spring is a time for renewal, for rediscovery. All things seem possible. I thought of this as I was writing my latest blog,
Who Do You Think You Are? and thought about so many people I've spoken with recently who are also in a state of rediscovery, or a re-awakening. It's in the air.
Also in the air is the upcoming Bumps, Babies & Beyond baby expo. Many wonderful vendors and speakers have already signed up to participate. We still have space, so if you're interested in showcasing your business to new and newer parents, contact me or visit My Time for Me and tell them Frittabello sent you!
Blessings always,
