Fair Housing and Sustainable Community Planning Conference

November 19 ,2010

Hello everyone,

We hope you'll join us on November 19 for our Fair Housing and Sustainable Community Planning conference. Charlie Baker of the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission and I have been working hard to bring this training to you.  As you know, Chittenden County recently received just over $1 million in federal funds for sustainable regional planning.  This one-day seminar will provide an introduction to opportunity mapping: GIS mapping of development, transportation, and demographic information and discuss the role of fair housing and integration in planning sustainable neighborhoods.  This is an all-day training and lunch is included.  The registration fee is only $15. Northfield Savings Bank is sponsoring the event and Vermont Housing and Conservation Board is providing additional support.  Come discuss sustainable communities, opportunity mapping as a planning tool, and national integration cases with the experts.

We hope you will join us!
