Announcing Hit The Hill Luncheon Keynote Speaker
Dr. Clem Pellet will share his compelling story about the unusual result he obtained through a private investigator's access to an address through the use of a social security number.
Clem Pellett's grandfather was shot to death in 1951, two years before Dr. Pellett was born. While cleaning
his mother's home, Dr. Pellett discovered the details of his grandfather's death while looking through a box of keepsakes containing newspaper clippings. The murderer, Frank Dryman, was convicted, served time and was released on parole in the early 1970s. Dryman absconded from parole, changed his name and faded into the woodwork.
Fortunately, Dryman did not change his social security number. Dr. Pellett sought out NCISS member Sheila Klopper who utilized one of our valued information providers, Merlin Information Services, to obtain a viable address. Sheila, with the assistance of private investigators Patricia Shaughnessy and Patrick Cote, found Frank Dryman literally hiding in plain sight.
Dr. Clem Pellett is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions from a clinic located in Bellevue, Washington. After graduating from dental school, he served his residency at the Mayo Clinic, is now considered one of Seattle's top ten surgeons, and has even taught in Zimbabwe.
Dr. Pellet and his wife Cynde are traveling to Hit the Hill at their own expense to address NCISS members. In addition, they will Hit the Hill with their own very personal message to fight to save social security numbers as a unique identifier. Between the Pellets, and Sheila and Patricia, the four of them will be able to address Congress members from Washington, California, Arizona and Montana. Dr. Pellett says, "I will help anyway I can!" Just how cool is that?
This is a presentation you will not want to miss.
