surprised by his statements regarding our country's immigration policies. Essentially, he told Americans that ill-advised policies, and the laws that often shape them, have consequences. He even allowed that sometimes well-intended laws simply don't make sense. For those of us in the guarding and investigations business, we know this to be a solemn and most unfortunate truth. Time and again we have witnessed honest minded lawmakers hastily craft bills to solve social and economic problems that produced devastating. . . read more

Steve Sabatke.

Like many, Steve Sebatke found himself in the security business by accident instead of by design. He grew up in Merrill, Wisconsin, then lived in Minnesota where he attended Concordia College in St Paul and majored in English Literature. Steve's plan was to be a teacher. Steve was chosen by the University of Missouri in Columbia to attend and pursue a Masters in teaching. His new wife, however, didn't want to move to Missouri so he turned it down.

Licensing in South Dakota, Too! 

 

Private Investigators in South Dakota may also see licensing with the passage of HB-1138. Representative Frank J. Kloucek and Senator James Bradford introduced a bill to provide for licensure and regulation of private detectives.
