Greetings! Good morning! How's your week? Ours is fantastic!! Why'd we wait until 2012 to go green? Good question Bob. Of course WWAD's Botanical Gardens (all 234 acres) have been fully organic since early 2007. Of course we recycle (all walk sites encouraged to please save water bottles) and of course WWAD World HQ is 100% LEED certified (ok, not sure on that), and of course all employees use cloth diapers (only when applicable). So, why are we announcing NOW that we're going green?...why NOW?! ...ummm...actually I forgot. BUT, we have a ton of great stuff this a.m. Please read on for tools that may just change the way you live.

 | Trying to Convince Your Colleagues to WWAD?...Look no further |
Please click here for a powerful article that popped up on CNN yesterday (Kathryn had already contacted Dr. Kohl before forwarding to WWAD Newsletter Building on West Campus) "Is that a European number one in the sand?! I don't like Euro Ones! That smart--- doctor is trying to be all 'fancy-schmancy' (spread hands wide, palms forward, at ear level moving side to side). I miss the good, ol' fashioned Walk with a Doc. You know, when you could just plop down on the back stoop, crack open a couple of Shotz (name the show) and just talk walkin' and squirrel huntin'. Now everybody's all tatted up drinking Perrier on their cell phone (What?! Drinking Perrier on their cell phone?) Well, at least he wrote it in the sand for the 'Green issue'"

 | Special Guest(s) at Walk - July 21st, (Columbus/Antrim Park 10:00 a.m.) |
Right now we've got a very special guest (needs kept as surprise to avoid media frenzy that we would not be able to accommodate). He will share his heroic experiences and inspire each and every one of us. Promise. *Autograph session at Antrim will be kept to 15 minutes with a limit of one photo per participant. Dr. Somani will be at Columbus (Antrim Park); Kathryn and David will be at both HiBx and Antrim walks this Saturday. **For all this week's walks, please click here! |
