Good morning! So, just exactly why are the next three days going to be incredible. Here's what I'm talking about:
10. First, all of you look and smell absolutely fantastic this morning - someone must have told you that you look great in that shirt? (we were given special computers in med school - they weigh 42 lbs and operate at a turtle's pace but because of the see-o-vision/smell-o-vision, I can't get rid of it)
9. United States v. Ghana at 2:30 pm tomorrow - it's all gravy now.
8. Three of the longest days of the year and the weather is going to be incredible!
7. You are going to exercise for 120 minutes or more and feel like a new person.
6. You are joining up with a Walk with a Doc at Franklin Park Conservatory, Park of Roses, or Westerville tomorrow (High-banks is on high-atus - I have the honor of taking care of our visitors to Mount Carmel St. Ann's this weekend). Please check our website (
www.walkwithadoc.org) for all the necessary information. This is a perfect opportunity to visit one of the walk sites you may not have seen yet...and make a new friend, or two, or three...
5. You are going to take your bike out for the longest, safest ride of the year (all counts toward this weekend's 120). Hard to believe how good it feels, isn't it? Am I really burning THAT many calories...feels like cheating. Where are the cookies! Oatmeal & raisin of course.
4. You are going to go buy that thing you've been wanting because you've earned it. Why did you earn it? You hit 120 minutes.
(At store) Wait a minute, was that girl/guy checking me out? You bet they are! The doc told me I looked fantastic this weekend. He must have been right. 'bout time.
3. The weekend after this one...Three-Day - niiiice!
2. Two words: Picnic in the Park - old school (and cheap). Bringing it back to nature.
