Greetings!

Good morning! We have plenty to report on this beautiful Wednesday morning.  So glad to have you with us.

First - some housekeeping- Buckeye Pride. The Ohio State University's Foootball Players and Coaching Staff worked day and night all season, making plenty of sacrifices to perform at that exceptional level in Pasadena. You indeed make us proud.  Coach - incredible play calling.

Second - Thank you to Mike Gross, Erica Cayton, and the entire group at G&J Pepsi.  Throughout this week, the Pepsi Team is building Walk with a Doc Displays and/or installing the WWAD racks of their diet products and Sobe Lifewater at CVS.  By next week, please be looking for the dedicated displays getting the word out in most, if not all of the 75 central Ohio CVS locations.

On with the show...

This Saturday - WWAD Shirts, Magnets, and Action Figures
Our Executive DirectorAction Figures and shirts are In!

This is the perfect time to get started on your goal of having a healthy 2010! Our participants are digging in and going after their 150 minutes a week...and more!

We were thrilled to have a lot of new faces (and of course bodies, legs, etc.) last Saturday.  We resume our Polaris Invasion this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with coffee, water, fruits, and granola. The blood pressures have been looking good.  Let our nurses know if you want it checked.

We will have our new technical long sleeve shirts available - glad to hear the favorable reviews on the 2nd.

The Limited Edition WWAD Kathryn Stephens Action Figure will be unveiled this Saturday as well.  For those unfamiliar, Kathryn is the Executive Director of Walk with a Doc - we are truly very lucky.

We are aware that the toy Kathryn is the same height as the 1977 Evil Knievel Action Figure.  However, in an effort to show the appropriate respect to our Director - we strongly discourage placing Kathryn on Evil's bike and sending it through the Stunt Cycle Launcher.  Over the years, many Evil Knievel dolls have met their demise in this fashion; this is not the purpose for which the Kathryn Stephens Action Figure was intended.  Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

In addition, the first 300 people to arrive at the walk this Saturday will receive the official Walk with a Doc car magnet.

Imagine if we had a pill that did all of this - we would never be able to able to afford it.  Can you believe it is right there in front of us, and it's essentially free! Please click on the following link to see just some of the great things you are doing for yourself:
We are proud of you.  Keep exercising.  It is the Fountain of Youth.  It really is.  Now is the time to start drinking! (from the Fountain....not Scotch...well maybe just a little Scotch.)

Our best,

David
