Thank you
Chemical Abstracts and Lake Shore Cryotronics - we appreciate your letting us introduce your employees to Walk with a Doc. We have corrupted them to the point they will never be the same. If you had just stayed in the room.........this never would have happened.

Thank you

Congratulations to Dr. Rick Kratche, David Pauer, Lisa Harris, and many others with a passion to serve. They kicked off Cleveland Clinic's Walk with a Doc last Saturday. They make us proud. It couldn't be a more natural extension.

Good morning! This Saturday at 9:00 a.m., we visit Circle G Lazy K Ranch!
This is absolutely one of the most popular walks we've had. It's for kids, parents, and grandparents. It is going to be a blast - lots of time to feed and converse with the beautiful animals. Wide open spaces. Not far from the city, but you feel like you've truly gotten away. There will be a large bonfire for the morning chill. Do not wear your favorite shoes. It will be cool, but nothing that a jacket and gloves can't fix.

Way cool field trip to Circle G Lazy K!
We are very fortunate to have Steve and Maria Glimcher as supporters of our program. They have generously offered up their beautiful ranch (www.circleglazykranch.com) for all Walk with a Doc participants. We will convene at the humane hour of 9:00 a.m. We will get up-close and personal with the alpacas as well as dozens of other animals. Next, it will be coffee, waters, and a healthy breakfast by the bonfire. Then we will explore this beautiful 110-acre facility with rancher Steve. The walk will be 30 - 60 minutes. We will, as always, have medical personnel available for blood pressure checks, questions, and the treatment of alpaca bites. Just kidding, they don't bite...if they don't like you, they spit.

Directions to Circle G Lazy K!
Take SR 161 East. Two miles past SR 310, route 161 goes down to 2 lanes (due to construction), right before the farm (strict 45 mph limit; usually highway patrol is there). You will take the exit just past the farm, which is 37 West, Johnstown. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left. Go over the overpass. Just past the orange barrels, on the left, is Moots Run Road. Turn left. Follow this, and it literally dead ends at the farm. Look for signs along the path that say Walk with a Doc (WWAD). |
