Greetings!

Good morning! Hope your week is going well and you've managed to stay dry. The weather tomorrow a.m. is mid to high 60's, sunny, and no rain.  We have been hearing back from many friends who are getting close to or achieving 150 minutes of exercise a week.  We cannot even begin to tell you how great that is for you.   Remember, that includes taking the stairs, parking far away, all that good stuff.  Believe me, it adds up quickly. Go get 'em today

Student Doctor and WWAD intern Jeff York has been a gift to our program. He's working his tail off for all of us.  In addition, Jeff has volunteered to lead at Highbanks this week at 8:30 (Big Meadows Picnic Area).  There will be a 5 minute presentation on a very pertinent medical topic that you won't want to miss.  Then he's sharing his Award Winning granola - coffee, water, and fruit as well.  Our rock star Program Director Kathryn Stephens has been doing so much with your feedback.  Please keep it coming and feel free to share with her tomorrow morning.
*If you are thinking Jeff looks a lot like a famous actor, he says he gets that all the time.
Thank you for your dedication.  We heard yesterday we'll be interviewed on XM Satellite Radio in late August - we'll post the airtime on our website when we know. Keep up your daily exercise, even if you can only go for 10 minutes at a time. It's the fountain of youth. It really is.
*No e-mail next week, but same place and time for the walk. Thank you.
My best,
David
