Issue: #237 July 23, 2009
Greetings!

Good morning! Those are a couple of nice smiles up top aren't they?

I'm trying to soften you up, because I have a little favor to ask.

As you know, we are working on a daily basis to improve our program for you. As we are introduced in various cities across the U.S., we want to put forward the product most likely to increase the activity of the community.  With that in mind, Kathryn has put together a fantastic 10 question survey. This will be instrumental, as all of us together, spread Walk with a Doc from Columbus to the far reaches of the globe, even Ann Arbor.

We are sensitive, but we need you to be honest. The truth hurts...but it also sets you free.  The survey is in the upper left hand corner.

We are happy to share that we have another exciting walk this Saturday. Almost regal in nature. We are humbled to have two important speakers. Please read below to see who will be attending on Saturday. Once again, we are at Highbanks Metro Park, Big Meadows Picnic Area, 8:30 a.m.  Coffee, smiles, blood pressures, food, good times, and a couple of impressive dudes.

(You know I look at those two on the letterhead and they just make me feel good.)

Dr. Phil
We are also honored to be joined by the creator of the New Albany Walking Classic.

I'm proud to know Phil.  He is a gentleman who has always been very supportive to all of us. Phil is a Professor Emeritus at Ohio State, accomplished author/publisher, one of the founders of the New York City Marathon, and the creator of the New Albany Walking Classic (www.newalbanywalkingclassic.com) - a world-class walking event that will be taking place on September 13, 2009.  This lollapalooza of walking has sold out every year, and is nearing capacity once again.

Phil will be discussing his incredible event and answering your most probing questions prior to our walk this Saturday.  Thanks for joining us Phil.
We now are providing easy access to our Twitter and Facebook accounts.  It is here where we will post daily progress with Walk with a Doc, important medical trial results that can change our lives for the better, and what my dog ate for dinner (kidding about the dog part).

Please take our survey.

Thanks and see you Saturday,
