Walk with a Doc Announces Bailout Request
Columbus, Ohio - November 12, 2008 - Despite it's unique positioning within today's economic structure (not a business), sources indicate Walk with a Doc (WWD) has full intention to request a financial assistance package from the U.S. Federal Government as early as this Friday. The request is expected to come in between .10 and .15 billion dollars. Government officials are left scratching their heads as to why. Third quarter earnings once again held steady (zero) despite what appears to be a marked increase in demand.

Due to the inadequate cellular reception in Tahiti, Walk with a Doc founder, David Sabgir, could not be reached for comment.
Anonymous sources within the corporation were, however, able to provide some insight.
"We simply wanted to get in line. Honestly, we see our request as quite reasonable and 'a blip on the screen'. In comparison to current developments in Detroit, and the $700 billion appropriated in October, we don't feel we are asking for much."
When questioned on what the money was intended for, WWD officials appeared to take offense.
"I don't see how that is anybody's business but our own.
The federal government is literally printing money, we would like some. A matter of fact, don't be surprised if we ask for more next February."

November 15th, 2008
We are proud to announce that Rick Gardner, 4th year OSU Medical student, will be leading this Saturday's walk at Highbanks. Rick has a dynamic personality and was a strong contributor to our hospital rounding team last year. Rick is likely headed off to the Pacific Northwest in several months to start his residency and his own Walk with a Doc program. The walk will convene at its normal location in the Big Meadows Picnic Area of Highbanks, 8:30. Please contact us with questions.
November 27th, Turkey Day
Our family will be starting the day running/walking at the Pilgrim's Progress 4 Miler at Polaris ( http://www.fatrabbitracing.com/Events/PilgrimsProgress/Default.aspx). This is a great event and believe me, there is no better way to enjoy a guilt-free Thanksgiving. They have tons of great stuff including a pre-party with an opportunity to hang with Rick Nash. The money goes to the Luke Billings Foundation (treatment of children with Cerebral Palsy). | |
