Big Easy Bowl
26th Annual Bowl-A-Thon to Strike in January

It's time for MARDI GRAS and Junior Achievement is excited to bring the Big Easy to San Diego.

Join us for the 26th annual JA Bowl-A-Thon, Big Easy Bowl. Bowl-A-Thon is a great way to build camaraderie while supporting Junior Achievement in a fun and easy way!

Here's how it works: companies or groups assemble teams of 5 who raise money for JA. Then on a specified date, they come together for raffles, prizes, fun and, of course, BOWLING! Not a good bowler? That's OK.  Prizes are awarded for bowlers that raise $150 or more so you don't have to feel bad about not hitting any pins.

Side2President's Message

Joanne PastulaEvery January, my New Year's resolutions include: focus on my health, exercise more, and eat right. My guess is many of you do the same.

But this year, with economic challenges still with us, resolving to be financially fit also has serious merit.

So here is Junior Achievement of San Diego and Imperial Counties' New Year's resolution: to ensure that our young people fundamentally understand personal finance, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness.

This is not only our serious resolution but it's also attainable (unlike loosing those last 10 pounds!). All we need is your continuing or new support, financially and as volunteer role models in the classroom of our students.

Please help us by sponsoring and inspiring our JA students. Your investment will change kids' lives - we see the "ah ha" moments every day and you will also!

Thank you and best wishes for a productive and positive 2011!
