Alumni Quest Succeeding Did you participate in the Company Program as a kid? Did you go through BizTown or have a volunteer in your classroom all those years ago?
Then you are a JA Alumnus and should tell us your story here!
More than 200 San Diegans have already told us about their experience with Junior Achievement and how it has positively impacted their professional lives. We're still looking for another 60 alumni to reach our FY 2010 goal.
April 21st is the last day to nominate alumni for our 60 for Success Alumni Celebration Event. We will honor 60 Outstanding Alumni as part of our 60th Anniversary Celebration. Nominate a colleague now. (You can even nominate yourself--we won't tell!)

4th Annual Entrepreneurship
Convention at Pt. Loma
On May 6th, more than 50 area high schoolers will compete in the San Diego Company of the Year
Competition at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Students start and run their own businesses, devise
their
own product, and then market and produce it while trying to realize a profit for
their
shareholders. Community members are welcome

SeaWorld Volunteers at BizTown
On March 10th, Laura Slanec (JA board member from SeaWorld)
recruited 32 SeaWorld employees who jumped at the chance to volunteer in BizTown as advisers to the 105 6th graders from Rice Elementary in the Chula Vista Elementary School District.
SeaWorld volunteers answered questions from the kids about running their business, how to make decisions regarding their cash flow or operations. They helped the kids set up and enjoy their busy day at BizTown. Thanks, SeaWorld!
