Have you used the Passport to Downtown Evanston Mobile App? What did you like about it? what didn't you like about it? What are some ideas you have to improve the mobile app? Dr. Seuss at Raymond Park - June 1, 2 & 3
See some of Dr. Seuss' greatest stories come alive! An ensemble of Northwestern University students have been working to bring these stories to life through original music, movement, and storytelling. Chicago Ave. Closure between Clark and Church - June 2

Evanston 150 Community Meeting - June 7
The Evanston150 Steering Committee hosts a special meeting on Thursday, June 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Community members will learn how to apply to serve on the Celebrate!2013 Working Group, the group tasked to organize Evanston's anniversary celebration year, and will hear updates from the 10 Idea Committees on what they've achieved so far. Bike to Work Week - June 9 - 15
Celebrate biking as a healthy and green way to get around town. To support and celebrate your two-wheeled trip during Bike to Work Week, a Bike Pit Stop will be available for Evanston bike commuters on Friday, June 15 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Fountain Square. Downtown Farmers Market - Every Saturday Through November Official hours of the Downtown Evanston Farmers Market are 7:30am to 1pm behind the Hilton Garden Inn. Shoppers can enjoy fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, milk, eggs, flavored oils, pasta, and bakery items, as well as flowers and plants. Free parking is available in the adjacent city parking garage at 1800 Maple Ave.
Evanston Beaches Open Saturday, May 26! The 2012 beach season will begin on Saturday, May 26! A daily pass or season token must be presented for beach admission. Evanston Mini Maker Faire: A Showcase for do-it0yourself technology of every shape and kind!
August 4-5, Evanston will host a Mini Maker Faire, a celebration of technology and the making of things. Members of the Evanston community are invited to exhibit their projects at the Faire, and see what everyone else has been making. The Faire is NOT limited to technology projects; If you like to cook, use power tools, sew, program computers, use 3D printers and laser cutters, or just like to work with your hands, you are strongly encouraged to attend or exhibit.
