Downtown Farmers Market - Every Saturday Through November
 Official hours of the Downtown Evanston Farmers Market are 7:30am to 1pm behind the Hilton Garden Inn. Shoppers can enjoy fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, milk, eggs, flavored oils, pasta, and bakery items, as well as flowers and plants. Memorial Day Celebration - May 28, 10am
 Evanston American Legion Post 42 will host a community reflection and ceremony honoring America's fallen heroes. The annual Memorial Day ceremony will be held at Fountain Square - Veterans Memorial Plaza. In keeping with the time-honored traditions of past ceremonies, there will be non-denominational reflections, singing and remarks by the leaders of local veterans groups.
