| Evanston Grand Prix - First Race begins at 9:00 am |  The Evanston Grand Prix returns Sunday, July 17th to Downtown Evanston. Enjoy a full day of bicycle races starting and finishing in Fountain Square (Sherman Ave. at Davis St.). Riders come to Evanston from 40 states and 20 countries to compete for cash prizes and thrill the spectators lining the course as speeds top 30 mph. Recharge Mondays, 7-8:30pm Three week series: July 11 / 18 / 25 $60, preregistration This series is designed to release physical tension and create a sense of peace and mental clarity through a combination of breath and body awareness, mindful movement, and conscious relaxation Some of the techniques practiced during the three weeks include gentle yoga stretches, Restorative Yoga poses and guided Yoga Nidra relaxation and meditation. No yoga or meditation experience is necessary.

We would like to invite members of the Evanston community to participate in the 2011-2012 class of Signature Leadership Evanston, a 10-month experience which encourages and develops leadership potential and community engagement. The 20th Leadership Evanston class will: - learn more broadly and deeply about our community,
- train in community leadership skills such as conflict resolution, advocacy & community organizing, creative problem solving, consensus building, strategic planning and board training,
- make connections and continue to build a network of engaged community leaders.
