Let's begin with a recap from last week. First, God wants to bless us and has already prepared a blessing for us. When we know that a blessing already exists with our name on it, it inspires us to be encouraged until we arrive at our "Blessed Place."
Second, God has promised to answer our every prayer concerning the blessings that God had prepared. Our job is first to pray. How many times have we hoped for something -even "faithfully" expected it - only after we did not receive it, did we realize that we never really sought (prayed) God about it. The first step in the journey to your blessing is prayer. WE MUST LEARN TO PRAY!
Next we learned that even before we know that we need a blessing, God has already prepared us to receive the blessing that we need. For example, Moses had been trained all of his life to fulfill a purpose that he had not yet realized. Similarly, God had empowered Gideon with talent for leadership, but because Gideon did not know his purpose, he also did not know his gift.
When you recognize a need in your life, be assured that God has recognized it first - even before you did. Therefore, God has already blessed you with the potential to achieve in the area of your desire.
"If it all seems to simple, why then do I still have areas of lack?" The reason this is true is because of our immaturity about the ways of God. We must learn to seek the mind of God (WISDOM), if we want to realize the blessings of God.
We must realize that God has a method for blessing us. Because God provisional-that is, God prepares before we need - God always operates according to a plan. We must learn to recognize the plan of God for our lives. Only then will we recognize the process of God in our lives.
