Hambrick started his law enforcement career with the United States Secret Service in 1971. For nearly 30 years John Hambrick managed or supervised Federal investigative offices in Washington D.C., Detroit, Chicago, and Los Angeles combating fraud in Federal agencies including the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Department of Defense, the Department of Commerce, and Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency and Veterans Affairs.
John has led investigations of contract fraud, mortgage fraud, workers compensation violations and breaches of public integrity. In 2003 he was named Chief Investigator for the Nevada Board of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was in charge of investigating medical mal-practice.
Throughout his adult life John has been active in civic and community matters. He has been involved with promoting youth athletics through Little League baseball for more than 30 years and is a past president of Summerlin Little League. John was appointed to the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Citizens Advisory Council and also served on the Youth Services Board. He currently sits on the Clark County Citizens Review Board and is Chairman of the Nevada Juvenile Justice Commission.
