Wild Foxglove is drawn in pen & ink and finished with a watercolor wash and colored pencil. It took a total of 26 hours to complete; click on the picture to see a larger image. The 7.25"x10" original drawing will sell for $1040. If you'd like to see this drawing in person, please let me know!

A New Flower Calendar |

We have received several requests for another flower calendar. I have been busy with commissioned work and other must-do projects and, until Wild Foxglove, I just have not drawn many flowers lately. Looking through the previous calendars, Kathy discovered that several of my flower pictures have never been included in any calendar yet; so, we have pulled them together with a few seasonal favorites and will have our new 2013 Flowers calendar ready in time for the Art & Air Festival. We will also have 4 other calendars available to choose from.

Art & Air Festival
|
If you love fine art and hot air balloons, Albany, OR, is the place you want to be August 24-26! The 13th annual ATI Wah Chang Northwest Art & Air Festival launches, literally, at 6:45am with the first balloon lift-off. This will happen each day at dawn. Come join us as we launch our art booth for the first time at this popular festival. We are excited about it and hope to see you there! Other activities include: a balloon "night glow" on Friday; more than six dozen Northwest artists with their wares for show and sale; food; a wine and microbrew garden; live music; children's hands-on art; classic cars on display; free Young Eagles flights for kids; aircraft displays at the airport; and fireworks on Saturday night.
Art Booth Hours:
Friday, August 24: 4-8 PM
Saturday, August 25: 10 AM-8 PM
Sunday, August 26: 11 AM-3 PM
