Dear ,

    Wayne

What a wet, but wonderful, weekend we had in Roseburg in June! Our canopy held up just beautifully and we were glad to welcome some of you into a dry spot in the park. Thank you for coming out in spite of the rain! That was our first time to show at the Umpqua Valley Summer Arts Festival, and we will be back! We were dampened, but our spirits were not!

I have taken photographs of foxgloves for years waiting for just the right time to draw one. The time was right to start Wild Foxglove at the Heritage Mall Mother's Day show in Albany. This was a fun one to draw. We will be releasing it to the public at the Art & Air Festival in Albany on August 24-26. I hope you enjoy it.

Many of you have asked for another flower calendar. We are happy to announce that we have one now for 2013. It will make its debut at the Art & Air Festival as well. Come say 'hi' and check it out.

Hope to see you there! Enjoy the rest of your summer!

I have planned to draw a foxglove for some time. My files are full of photos. When we were first beginning the art business, our daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Scott, met us at a campground in Waldport, OR, for a weekend of planning. At one point, Scott and I ...  Click to read full commentary

 A New Flower Calendar

The Work of Your Hands by Wayne Bricco   "Whoever welcomes a little child like this
in my name welcomes me."
~Matthew 18:5 .

We have received several requests for another flower calendar. I have been busy with commissioned work and other must-do projects and, until Wild Foxglove, I just have not drawn many flowers lately. Looking through the previous calendars, Kathy discovered that several of my flower pictures have never been included in any calendar yet; so, we have pulled them together with a few seasonal favorites and will have our new 2013 Flowers calendar ready in time for the Art & Air Festival. We will also have 4 other calendars available to choose from.

If you can't make it to the festival, you can order here. Click on the name of the calendar to see what pictures are included in it.
