At last Returning Home is finished! I have wanted to draw this picture for a long time, and
it is finally looking back at me from a frame. You can read
about it below. Kathy and I have decided it is a tribute to all the wonderful people we left behind in Crescent City, CA - a place we will always call 'home' after spending 45 years of our lives there.

I drew Fortress of Light when we were in the process of sifting through those 45-years-worth of treasures, junk, and other belongings to move to Albany, OR. In all the chaos of selling/buying houses, moving the stuff we decided to keep, and getting relocated, there was little time for sending out an edition of Fresh Ink. So here is a look back in time at the St. George Reef Lighthouse as it looked soon after it was completed.

I hope you are all enjoying the colors of fall. You will find that my art work, too, is starting to take on a bit more color lately.
