Greetings! |
Wow! A lot has happened since you last heard from us.
The biggest thing that has kept us busy is that Kathy and I have moved from Crescent City, CA, to Albany, OR. It took us a while to find the right house with a place for Kathy's office and my studio, but we found it. Pooh even has a place to roam in the back yard with grape vines, blueberries and other goodies.
Thanks to those of you who found us at various festivals this summer. As you may know, our profit goes to children's outreach. Thanks to your support, we have had a wonderful time last month shopping for children whose names we took from Christmas Giving trees, in addition to the nine children we sponsor through Compassion International.
We've had requests for a covered bridge calendar for several years. I don't quite have enough drawings for one yet, but the newest calendar this year does feature four new covered bridges. If you're interested in any of the 2011 calendars, you can even order your copies right from this email!
Have a blessed New Year, |

The Best of Acrewood Art #2 2011: Your last chance to get this classic before it retires!
|
This is your last chance to get this popular calendar. The 2011 edition of the Best of Acrewood Art II will be the last before it is discontinued. We would love to make all of our calendars available all the time, but that is just not practical; eventually some have to be phased out so that new ones can be introduced.
The scenes in this calendar are some of the most diverse geographically, ranging from Judenburg Tower in Austria, and the Roman amphitheater in Tarragona, Spain (Cross of Thorns) to the San Juan Islands in Washington State (Lavender Joy and Lime Kiln Lighthouse) and the Oregon and Northern California coast (Cape Meares Lighthouse, North Fork Yachats Bridge, Battery Point Lighthouse III) and a few places in between.
Click on the individual links above to see the drawings, or click on the cover, above left, to see all of the drawings in this calendar.
Don't miss out on this favorite before it is gone! $20 each, The Best of Acrewood Art #2

Del Norte County Scenes: A perennial favorite
|
Back by popular demand is our Del Norte County Scenes calendar. As the name implies, the pictures in this calendar are of scenes in and around Del Norte County, CA.
After living in Del Norte County for 45 years we have come to know these well. Now that we have moved to Oregon's Willamette Valley it will become a nostalgic reminder for us of a wonderful time in our lives.
This is a great calendar for anyone who has ever lived in or visited this beautiful place on the north coast of California.

Pacific Northwest Lighthouses: All of Oregon, Plus one Washington & two California
|
The Pacific Northwest is home to many maritime treasures - the lighthouses.
This calendar includes all nine of the historic Oregon coast lighthouses. To round out the calendar, we chose two from California and one from Washington.
The two lighthouses just across the border in Del Norte County, California are represented with St. George Reef Lighthouse and A Battery Point Christmas.
Lime Kiln Lighthouse, from Washington's San Juan Islands is our twelfth lighthouse.
