For quantum leaps in performance, create "entangling" interactions with others.

Quantum Entanglement
In quantum physics, the phenomenon known as "entanglement" works like this:
You link two particles (like photons of light) together in such a way as to make them part of the same entity. Then, when they are separated, even at great distances, they continue to have an impact on one another. A change in one is immediately reflected in the other.
Reflect:
- Identify 5 people you have worked with in the past from whom you are now separated (no longer a co-worker or client). What contributions did you make to each other's lives and careers? How did you change as a result of your interaction?
- How can the principle of quantum entanglement be applied to the management of remote work teams? How can you engage with colleagues in other locations in ways that impact the way they act once you have gone?
- With whom do you need to get "entangled"? What person from another department or mindset do you need to engage? What can you hope to give and receive by spending time with them?
Take Action:
- Get more "entangled" with your clients - both external and internal. What can you learn about their day-to-day experience that can help you serve them better?
- Set up a team meeting designed to give the group an experience that will forever impact the way they look at their work and their accountability to do their best work.
