Remember a time you attended a great play or concert? Recall the talented performers on the stage giving it their all. Relive the exciting energy in the theater or stadium. Think back on the finale when everyone is clapping as the players take their bows.
 
 
Your Assignment:
  • Imagine your workplace as a stage. Your clients are the audience. Each day is a performance. Your business plan is the script. Every employee has a role.
  • Transfer what you know about great performances to the workplace. What would it take to get you and your "cast" ready to perform with talent, energy and commitment when the curtain goes up?   
 
Questions:
If the workplace is a stage and every day is a performance,
  • How does that change the way you lead? What is your role?
  • What would it take to get a standing ovation?
  • How can you re-create in your workplace the same energy and focus it takes to put on a theatrical performance?
