Remember by LeeBooDuck

Lee Boo Duck is a professor of digital textile design at Kunjang College, located in Gunsan city, South Korea.  She has specialized in fiber art, paper art design, digital textile design, and other printing techniques. Much of her paper art makes use of Korean traditional paper called hanji, a type of mulberry paper.

Hanji is said to reflect the regional characteristics from which it was fashioned.  Lee Boo Duck is part of the Millennium Jeonju Hanji Forum and travels around the world every year with the association for hanji, exhibiting paper art.  She is currently an artist in residence at the Tacoma Community College. This is her first exhibition in the Pacific Northwest.  A selection of her designs on silk ties will also be featured.
