Taking the mystique out of working with designers

  July 17, 2009

Japanese tansu adapted for a bathroom sink

Here's your chance to ask some burning questions in an informal gathering.  We've invited interior designer ,Christian Ursino, and custom furniture builder, Rom Lee to talk about how to work with designers to create a solution for a design challenge you may have.

Most people we know appreciate good design but don't have the time or know where to begin.  Many would welcome some guidance when it comes to coming up with a design solution for a small project .  Maybe you want to take an existing cabinet and adapt it into a specific space or design it to work for a different function.  Design solutions encompass a wide range of work from building something new to combining new with the old.

What does a interior designer do?  Why buy a custom piece of furniture?  How do you find good designers?  What does the process to work with a designer look like?  Why purchase locally and more answers to questions about working with designers.
