 with Megumi Schacher
 
 A two day workshop over two Saturdays in October.
 Saturday mornings: October 11 and 25, 2008, 10am - 12:30pm

Join us for a 2 day workshop with Ikebana instructor, Megumi Schacher for two sessions of ikebana (both sessions are two and a half hours) featuring contemporary fall and winter holiday arrangements for your home using flowers and foliage of the fall season. 
 
The class is open to the beginner or for those with more experience. 
Megumi is a member of the Seattle branch of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana and a certified instructor.
 
Session 1 Fall Colors, October 11, 10:00 - 12:30pm
In this workshop we bring the beautiful fall season into the home, using reds and yellows of leaves, branches and flowers available in autumn in the Northwest.
 
Session 2 Holiday Ikebana, October 25, 10:00 - 12:30pm
This workshop plays on the techniques of ikebana to make holiday themed arrangements for Thanksgiving and the winter holiday season.
 
$60 per person includes two sessions of classes, and all flower and plant materials which will be provided by the instructor.  Students will be asked to bring a few items from home in a class supply list.
