WELCOME TO OUR NOVEMBER ISSUE
|
The featured article our our Fall Newsletter by Louise Reichlin, Director of Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers, begins:
GOOD TIMES! BAD TIMES! with the first paragraph: GOOD TIMES (GT) Good times are waking up in the morning, shaking out my legs and jumping out of bed, riding my stationary bike in the yard looking up at the most beautiful leaves and trees in this challenging and vital city that has been my home since the early 70's.
It goes on to talk about learning that three of our largest public grants have been renewed, and about some of the events we have been invited to participate in. Under BAD TIMES! are when I mourn the loss of my inspirational husband, what is happening with our economy, and when unforseen technical gliches can mar a performance.
(GT) Good times for us included 1,101 performances, workshops and services this past year alone, giving free tickets to teachers and students from five high schols and middle schools to our full-scale production at the Madrid last season, and yes, even with our see-saw economy we are asking for your contributions again and we want to let you know exactly how your donation will help. To read the complete article go our new Fall Newsletter and click on page 1. If you would like to get hard copies of our mailings in the future, you can do that by emailing us.
