Greetings!
Past President Kate Jager
Let me be the first to congratulate Melissa Abenante & Kris White on their outstanding job leading our team at the American Cancer Society's Relay-For-Life!

Melissa, Kris and the entire team worked extremely hard over the last six months to raise over Two Thousand Dollars to help the fight against cancer!

I wasn't able to attend the Relay on Saturday except for a brief visit during set up, but everyone I talked with at the Arts & Crafts Fair on Sunday raved about it. Our tent looked fantastic and our party was the best there! I'm so proud to have been a small part of our Shelton Jaycees Party Animals Relay Team this year.

I'm so excited that our chapter has grown to the point where we can run two huge projects in one weekend.  Imagine what we can do with even more members!

Our 45th Annual Arts and Crafts Show also ran without a hitch. All totaled we had 95 exhibitors!

Kris organized a great Kids Crafts Area. Kris, Sam, Blythe and Jarid helped children make foam visors and bookmarks and gave out balloons.  Sharon & Tom kept the food booth humming with hard work from Dave, Stephanie, Mike, Jim Lee and Jim Nissen. Wendy & Nikole pulled off a Tea Cup Drawing with over 60 items donated. Past President Mark Holden did an outstanding job as our DJ and announcer. Blythe and Kris visited every single booth to choose our three Best Artists and three Top Crafters for our awards. Blythe also helped register exhibitors too! Thanks go out to everyone who helped on the day-of the event and everyone who helped with the prep work and clean-up.

What a weekend! Congratulations again to everyone who helped with each of our big events.

Hope I see you all at the meeting Tuesday night at Pinerock Firehouse!
