Greetings!
I'm sending you this email
because I think you would make a great addition to the Unknown Warrior team,
and I think you'll have a blast while doing it!!! If you're not sure what this entails,
basically, we do some fundraising for the American Cancer Society, and then on
June 7th we go to Riverwalk Park in Shelton and hang out, walk around the
track, play cards and make new friends. Here's a little more of the plan....

Usually we each get pledges
individually, but this year, thanks to Team Captain Melissa, we
are trying something new. We are going
to have several team fundraising events.
If you can help out at any of them, that's great. If not, that's fine too ...Just remember that
we are joining up with another team this year, so there are lots of new people
to meet and have fun with, and you could be missing out!! :-) The following is a list of activities we have
planned, in addition to the event itself. |

Mother's Day Flower Sale

LOCATION: Pine Rock Fire House, Shelton
MORE: A portion of the proceeds of the Flower Sale will
go to the Relay for Life team. If you

Hula Hank's Donation Luau
DATE: Saturday May 17, 2008
TIME: 9pm-11pm
LOCATION: Hula Hank's Bar, New Haven

Shaw's Donation Deluge
 DATE: Saturday, May 24, 2008
TIME: 8am-2pm
LOCATION: Shaw's Supermarket, Bridgeport Ave., Shelton
MORE: Come for as long as you can, there are no minimum time commitments. We'll be giving out balloons and bead necklaces, and recruiting people to come walk with us at the Relay!!

This event has been part of the SJC Calendar for many years. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Cancer touches us all in some way, whether by attacking us or someone we know and love. Please help us fight this battle - become an Unknown Warrior.
