"I was sick and you cared for Me" The Lord Jesus Christ |

Dear Friends and Followers of Jesus Christ, |
Every week I receive letters and emails from precious Christian pastors, requesting financial help for basic medical care that we take for granted. Our Christian brethren, living in countries like India, Pakistan, most nations in Africa, the Philippines, and many other nations, cannot receive life saving medical care without paying in advance. To save the lives of their loved ones, they are forced to borrow from money lenders at exorbitantly high interest rates. In most cases they just go without the benefit of medical care.
It would be wonderful to have a "Medical Emergency Fund" which we could draw from to meet some of these most urgent needs for our brethren. Please join with us in praying for this need.
Following is a letter recently received from a pastor in India, and a few other tragic examples.
Sister Esther in India writes:
Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus. I thought of sending prayer request for my sister in law (Vardhini) who was sick for one week, but due to her kidneys failure, she passed away on the 11th of July at 3:30 AM. It was four days back so we are in a lot of agony and my brother was in depression so please do pray for him. My sister-in-law was only 30 years old.
Pastor B. Ananda Rao, in India writes:
Unfortunately, I was fallen sick by Typhoid and malaria fever on the same day of the Second Saturday Pastors Fellowship meeting. Our Director prayed for me in the meeting and asked me to take rest. Now I was undergone some blood tests and taking medicines. I am a poor pastor and spending huge money to get medical treatments. Please pray for me and pray for my healing.
Gratefully your servant in Jesus Christ,
Court Wood
