Sandy and I have just received the following report from Joshua Atieno in Miwani, Kenya. Joshua is recovering!!!! Thank you for your concern and prayers for Joshua and Abigail.
"Dear beloved brothers and sisters in the lord in
love and prayers,
It is a breakthrough even not completely but know the lord is soon healing me completely. What the devil meant for bad
is now for the good.
Most of you may have not been aware that,
some little pain which started on my left arm and later spread into the legs
and covered my spinal cord. I could not lift my hand to eat, to greet and worst
of all even to talk. I became a little baby to my wife Abigail who has now two
little babies we call angels.The third one was the big Joshua. So hard on my
wife but thank the lord she endured it all.
Glory goes to the father to have used a
neurologist based in Kisumu and Nairobi called Dr Jowi to have been used
of the lord to diagnose and prescribe medicine that did so well in my body just
within days. The lord heals and treats in different ways. Let us also
thank the lord for the doctors.
The Doctor was not important, the drugs not
important, what is most important is the Lord who created the medicine and the doctor. Jesus Christ is the one who created the body. If He said no, nothing could be done
but in this case He said yes.
Also the prayers from saints of the lord, that
went up to Heaven and nothing goes up without coming down. In this case prayers
that went up, came down, and the lord healed me.
Orphans prayed, widows went into their knees
to seek the Lord's face, some fasted for almost a week. Our Lord is not dead , He
is alive and present with us.
Yes my body was almost paralyzed, yet my mind and
spirit were strong. The Lord is not finished with what He started doing in me
and through me. My humility and obedience to His voice has pleased my
lord. The Lord has renewed my body and soul. I have become a new creation after
the sickness. My testimony is registered both here and there. This world is not
my home, yet God has has me some more years as He did to His servants.
I know some of you have pain in your bodies
and some are even worst than mine, some of you have friends and relatives like
that. I have a testimony for you to share with all the saints to encourage the
whole body of Christ to pray; for the Lord who delivered Paul and Silas out of the
prison gate can still do that, when we pray and all saints pray.
May his name be praised for ever and ever.
Please do continue to pray for me for on 1st August,
that is the time I will go back for review and further medical check and I need
very much your prayers. The drugs are expensive but the supplier is Jesus
Christ our Lord.
